Understanding loss and failure in Islam
“When a person suffers a loss or failure, what should he think? Is it that Allah has a better plan, or is it a learning process, or a learning experience and a test? After loss, people say that Allah has planned something good. How correct is this understanding?”Asked by ذیشان یوسف, حیدرآباد

1:19:03Maulana, agla sawal Hyderabad se aya hai, Zeeshan Yusuf sahib ka, aur unhon ne likha hai: Jab insan koi, jab insan ka koi nuqsan ya failure ho jaye to use kya sochna chahiye? Allah ka koi aur acha plan ho ga ya phir yeh learning process, ya yaani ya phir yeh learning experience aur imtehan hai? Nuqsan ke baad log yeh bolte hain ke Allah ne kuch acha plan kar rakha ho ga. Yeh fehm, soch kahan tak sahi hai? Dekhein, pehla jo maslak hai woh to batata hoon aap ko mein. Mein hamesha aise mauqe par Hazrat Ali ka aik qoul yaad karta hoon.
1:19:55Unhon ne kaha tha ke "Al khair e fima waqa" . Jo hua wohi behtar tha. Yaani "What happened, happened for our betterment" . Is se dekhein, feel for aap ke andar positive thinking aa jati hai. Acha, positive thinking anay ke mani, yaani koi, yaani wahan par full stop nahi aata, wo stop nahi ho jata wahan par, balkeh soch ka direction sahi ho jata hai. Yeh jo Hazrat Ali ka qoul hai, is ko mannay se kya hota hai ke soch ka direction sahi hota hai.
1:20:36Bajaye negative side mein sochne ke, hum positive side mein sochne lagte hain. To mujhe bohat zabardast yeh lagta hai yeh qoul "Al khair e fima waqa" . Agar aap yeh na sochein to aap ki soch chalegi negative side mein, aur yeh aap qoul yaad kar lein to aap ki thinking chalegi positive side mein. Bas yahi, yahi is ka solution hai aur koi doosra solution hai nahi. Okay, we will end this session now . Thank you.
