Why do false gods seem to respond?

This would not be the case if someone takes God as Guru, Prophet, Sun, Moon, or an idol as it would be more like a unilateral relation since there would be no response from these so-called false gods." Maulana, here the problem is that people who believe in these false gods also experience their problem getting resolved due to some reason or the other, and this gives them more conviction that the Guru or Prophet are real God.
