قُلۡ مَن رَّبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ قُلِ ٱللَّهُۚ قُلۡ أَفَٱتَّخَذۡتُم مِّن دُونِهِۦٓ أَوۡلِيَآءَ لَا يَمۡلِكُونَ لِأَنفُسِهِمۡ نَفۡعٗا وَلَا ضَرّٗاۚ قُلۡ هَلۡ يَسۡتَوِي ٱلۡأَعۡمَىٰ وَٱلۡبَصِيرُ أَمۡ هَلۡ تَسۡتَوِي ٱلظُّلُمَٰتُ وَٱلنُّورُۗ أَمۡ جَعَلُواْ لِلَّهِ شُرَكَآءَ خَلَقُواْ كَخَلۡقِهِۦ فَتَشَٰبَهَ ٱلۡخَلۡقُ عَلَيۡهِمۡۚ قُلِ ٱللَّهُ خَٰلِقُ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ وَهُوَ ٱلۡوَٰحِدُ ٱلۡقَهَّـٰرُ
Say, "Who is Lord of the heavens and earth?" Say, "Allah." Say, "Have you then taken besides Him allies not possessing [even] for themselves any benefit or any harm?" Say, "Is the blind equivalent to the seeing? Or is darkness equivalent to light? Or have they attributed to Allah partners who created like His creation so that the creation [of each] seemed similar to them?" Say, "Allah is the Creator of all things, and He is the One, the Prevailing
God expects man to bow down before Him. This ‘bowing down’, is the religion of the whole universe. Everything in this world is totally subject to God’s command. A physical sign of this subjection is the casting of shadows towards the west in the morning and towards the east in the evening. This daily happening is the material symbolising of that self-prostration which man is expected consciously to perform. A study of the universe in all its vastness reveals that all of it is bound by one universal law. This proves the fact that its Creator and Lord is one and only one. Rational and intellectual studies do not in any way prove that more than one power is active in this universe. In view of this, the notion of an additional god other than the one and only God is an absolutely baseless presumption. Observation with the help of the ‘eye’ indicates the existence of one and only one God. So, those who believe in the existence of more than one God, only prove their ‘blindness’, that they have assumed the existence of many gods due to their blindness and not on the basis of knowledge and observation in the real sense.
خدا کا مطالبہ انسان سے یہ ہے کہ وہ اس کے آگے جھک جائے۔ یہی ’’جھکنا‘‘ تمام کائنات کا دین ہے۔ اس دنیا کی ہر چیز خداکے حکم کے آگے کامل طورپر جھکی ہوئی ہے۔ اسی جھکاؤ کی ایک علامت ہے چیزوں کے سایہ کا صبح وشام مغرب اور مشرق کی طرف گرنا۔ چیزوں کا یہ سایہ گویا اس سجدہ کو مادی طورپر ممثل کررہا ہے جو انسان سے شعوری طور پر مطلوب ہے۔ اوّل الذکر سجدے کا علامتی روپ ہے اور ثانی الذکر اس کا حقیقی روپ۔
وسیع کائنات کا مطالعہ بتاتا ہے کہ ساری کائنات ایک ہی آفاقی قانون میں بندھی ہوئی ہے۔ یہ اس بات کا ثبوت ہے کہ اس کا خالق اور مالک ایک ہے۔ انسان کا علمی اور عقلی مطالعہ کسی بھی طرح یہ ثابت نہیں کرتا کہ اس کائنات میں ایک سے زیادہ طاقتوں کی کار فرمائی ہو۔ ایسی حالت میں ایک خدا کے سوا مزید خدا ماننا سراسر بے بنیاد مفروضہ ہے۔
’’آنکھ‘‘ کا مشاہدہ تو صرف ایک خدا کا پتہ دیتاہے۔ اس لیے جو لوگ ایک خدا سے زیادہ خدا مانیں وہ صرف اس بات کا ثبوت دیتے ہیں کہ وہ اندھے ہیں۔ انھوں نے اپنے اندھے پن کی وجہ سے کئی خدا فرض کر ليے ہیں، نہ کہ حقیقی معنوں میں علم اور مشاہدہ کی بنیاد پر۔
