أَوَلَمۡ يَرَوۡاْ إِلَىٰ مَا خَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ مِن شَيۡءٖ يَتَفَيَّؤُاْ ظِلَٰلُهُۥ عَنِ ٱلۡيَمِينِ وَٱلشَّمَآئِلِ سُجَّدٗا لِّلَّهِ وَهُمۡ دَٰخِرُونَ
Have they not considered what things Allah has created? Their shadows incline to the right and to the left, prostrating to Allah, while they are humble
Man indulges in arrogance in a world where all the things surrounding him are teaching him lessons in obedience. For example, the shadows of material things. The shadow of a thing standing erect falls on the ground. In this way, it symbolizes kneeling down (sajdah). It shows symbolically how a man should bow down before his Creator. Though angels are not visible to man, the running of this immense universe in the most regulated manner proves that the agents appointed by God to run it are extremely powerful. These angels, in spite of being extraordinarily powerful, are totally obedient to God. If they were not so, the system of the universe would not function continuously with so much precision and uniformity. In view of this, to be entirely correct in his behaviour, man can do no other than surrender himself to God, do obeisance to Him and become His most obedient subject.
انسان ایک ایسی دنیا میں سرکشی کرتاہے، جس میں اس کے چاروں طرف اس کو تابعداری کا سبق دیا جارہا ہے۔ مثال کے طورپر مادی اجسام کے سائے۔ ایک چیز جو کھڑی ہوئی ہو، اس کا سایہ زمین پر پڑ جاتا ہے۔ اس طرح وہ سجدہ کو ممثل کررہا ہے۔ وہ تمثیلی انداز میں بتاتاہے کہ انسان کو کس طرح اپنے خالق کے آگے جھک جانا چاہیے۔
فرشتے اگر چہ انسان کو نظر نہیں آتے۔ مگر عظیم کائنات کا اس قدر منظم ہو کر چلنا ثابت کرتاہے کہ اس کو چلانے کے لیے خدا نے اپنے جو کارندے مقرر کيے ہیں وہ انتہائی طاقت ور ہیں۔ یہ فرشتے غیر معمولی طاقت ور ہونے کے باوجود خدا کے حد درجہ مطیع ہیں۔ اگر وہ حد درجہ مطیع نہ ہوں تو کائنات کا نظام اس درجہ صحت اور یکسانیت کے ساتھ مسلسل چلتا ہوا نظر نہ آئے۔
ایسی حالت میں انسان کے لیے صحیح رویہ اس کے سوا اور کچھ نہیں ہوسکتا کہ وہ اپنے آپ کو خدا کی اطاعت میں دے دے، وہ مکمل طورپر اس کا فرماں بردار بن جائے۔
