فَأَرَادَ أَن يَسۡتَفِزَّهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَأَغۡرَقۡنَٰهُ وَمَن مَّعَهُۥ جَمِيعٗا
So he intended to drive them from the land, but We drowned him and those with him all together
When clear signs were shown to the Pharaoh, he said that this was magic. This shows how powerful an argument and how great the signs of God that are presented by the preacher to the addressee, it is still open to man to reject the message by uttering some words which he thinks to be logical. He may call divine signs a form of magic produced by man, or ignore its rational proofs as carrying no academic weight and as such unacceptable. When the opponents fail in suppressing the call of truth by verbal opposition, they stoop to aggressive activities against the messenger of truth, forgetting that this was not a human, but a divine matter. Who can succeed in the matter of God by resorting to aggression?
فرعون کے سامنے کھلی ہوئی نشانیاں پیش کی گئیں تو اس نے کہا کہ یہ ’’جادو‘‘ ہے۔ اس کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ داعی کی طرف سے خواہ کتنی ہی طاقت ور دلیل اور کتنی ہی بڑی نشانی پیش کردی جائے، انسان کے لیے یہ دروازہ بند نہیں ہوتا کہ وہ کچھ الفاظ بول کر اس کو رد کردے — وہ خدائی نشانی کو انسانی جادو کہہ دے۔ وہ علمی دلیل کو ناقص مطالعہ کہہ کر ٹال دے۔ وہ واضح قرائن کو غیر معقول کہہ کر نظر انداز کردے۔
حق کے مخالفین جب لفظی مخالفت سے حق کی آواز دبانے میں کامیاب نہیں ہوتے تو وہ جارحانہ کارروائیوں پر اتر آتے ہیں۔ مگر وہ بھول جاتے ہیں کہ یہ کسی انسان کا معاملہ نہیں۔ بلکہ خدا کا معاملہ ہے اور کون ہے جو خدا کے ساتھ جارحیت کرکے کامیاب ہو۔
