وَنُنَزِّلُ مِنَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانِ مَا هُوَ شِفَآءٞ وَرَحۡمَةٞ لِّلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَلَا يَزِيدُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ إِلَّا خَسَارٗا
And We send down of the Qur'an that which is healing and mercy for the believers, but it does not increase the wrongdoers except in loss
The Quran is a declaration of pure truth. The communication of the pure truth amounts to adversely affecting the interests of all those who follow such ‘truth’ as has been vitiated by human interpolation. But when the pure truth is laid before those whose thinking is realistic, it is accepted by them as their absolute standard or criterion, as opposed to following their own instincts. They mould themselves to the truth instead of moulding the truth to themselves. Owing to their sincerity and realistic thinking, the Quran becomes a blessing for them. Unlike them are the arrogant ones who think that they are great, because of their particular mindset. When the truth comes to them in its pure form, their minds function in the wrong direction. They fail to understand that, if they adopted the truth, they would become right-minded persons. On the contrary, they believe that if they accepted the truth presented by someone else, they would become diminished in stature. So, in order to satisfy their egos, they are ready to belittle the truth by refusing to accept it, and attempting to show that it is not worth accepting.
قرآن خالص سچائی کا اعلان ہے۔ خالص سچائی جب پیش کی جاتی ہے تو ان تمام لوگوں پر اس کی زد پڑتی ہے جو یا تو سچائی سے خالی ہوں یا ملاوٹی سچائی ليے ہوئے ہوں۔ اب جو لوگ حقیقت پسند ہیں ان کے سامنے جب خالص سچائی آتی ہے تو وہ سچائی کو معیار بناتے ہیں، نہ کہ اپنی ذات کو۔ وہ اپنے آپ کو سچائی پر ڈھال لیتے ہیں، نہ یہ کہ خود سچائی کو اپنے اوپر ڈھالنے لگیں۔ اس طرح ان کی سنجیدگی اور حقیقت پسندی ان کے قرآن کو ان کے لیے رحمت بنادیتی ہے۔
دوسرے لوگ وہ ہیں جن کے اندر اپنی بڑائی کا احساس چھپا ہوا ہوتا ہے۔ ان کے سامنے جب بے آمیز سچائی آتی ہے تو اپنی مخصوصی نفسیات کی بنا پر ان کا ذہن الٹے رخ پر چل پڑتا ہے۔ وہ یہ نہیں سوچ پاتے کہ ’’اگر میں سچائی کو اختیار کرلوں تو میں سچا بن جاؤں گا‘‘۔ اس کے بجائے کہ وہ یہ سوچنے لگتے ہیں کہ ’’اگر میں نے سچائی کو مانا تو میں چھوٹا ہوجاؤں گا‘‘۔ وہ جانے والی چیز کی حفاظت میں رہنے والی چیز کو کھو دیتے ہیں۔ وہ اپنی بڑائی کو قائم رکھنے کی خاطر سچائی کو چھوٹا کرنے پر راضی ہوجاتے ہیں۔
