وَمَن يَهۡدِ ٱللَّهُ فَهُوَ ٱلۡمُهۡتَدِۖ وَمَن يُضۡلِلۡ فَلَن تَجِدَ لَهُمۡ أَوۡلِيَآءَ مِن دُونِهِۦۖ وَنَحۡشُرُهُمۡ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ عَلَىٰ وُجُوهِهِمۡ عُمۡيٗا وَبُكۡمٗا وَصُمّٗاۖ مَّأۡوَىٰهُمۡ جَهَنَّمُۖ كُلَّمَا خَبَتۡ زِدۡنَٰهُمۡ سَعِيرٗا
And whoever Allah guides - he is the [rightly] guided; and whoever He sends astray - you will never find for them protectors besides Him, and We will gather them on the Day of Resurrection [fallen] on their faces - blind, dumb and deaf. Their refuge is Hell; every time it subsides We increase them in blazing fire
In this world man leads his life according to his material status. In the Hereafter he will rise or fall according to his spiritual status. That is why those who went astray in this world will be raised on Doomsday as blind, deaf and dumb. Their straying resulted from their not using their eyes, ears and tongues towards the end for which they were intended. They did not see the signs of God. They did not pay heed to the evidence of God. They did not speak out in support of the truth, in spite of being able to see, hear and speak. So far as the truth was concerned, they were as if without eyes, ears, and tongue. After death when they reach the next world, they will find themselves in their real face. In this world they are given everything without deserving it; it is like having an unreal face which they have received in this world purely on a temporary basis, because the present life is a period of trial. There are two types of misguided people, one uttering words of insolence, like ‘How can we be resurrected when we have crumbled to dust?’, the other acting in such a way as to convey the same sentiments. The latter are those who do not properly use their eyes, ears, or tongues: they use these things against the very purpose of creation, then they blissfully imagine that their actions will have no consequences in the Hereafter.
دنیا میں آدمی اپنی حیثیت مادی کے مطابق جیتا ہے، آخرت میں وہ اپنی حیثیت روحانی کے مطابق نظر آئے گا۔ یہی وجہ ہے کہ جو لوگ دنیا میں راہ سے بے راہ ہوئے وہ قیامت میں اٹھیں گے تو اپنے آپ کو اندھا، بہرا، گونگا پائیں گے۔ ان کا راہ سے بے راہ ہونا اس لیے تھا کہ انھوں نے آنکھ اور کان اور زبان کو اس مقصد میں استعمال نہیں کیا جس کے لیے وہ انھیں دئے گئے تھے۔ انھو ںنے خدا کی نشانیوں کو نہیں دیکھا۔ انھوںنے خدا کے دلائل کو نہیں سنا۔ ان کی زبان حق کی حمایت میں نہیں کھلی۔ وہ آنکھ، کان اور زبان رکھتے ہوئے حق کی نسبت سے بے آنکھ، بے کان اور بے زبان ہوگئے۔ موت کے بعد جب وہ عالم حقیقی میں پہنچیں گے تو وہاں وہ اپنے آپ کو اپنی اصلی صورت میں پائیں گے، نہ کہ اس مصنوعی صورت میں جو حالت امتحان میں ہونے کی وجہ سے وقتی طورپر انھیں موجودہ دنیا میں حاصل تھی۔
’’جب ہم ریزہ ریزہ ہوجائیں گے‘‘ کہنے والے ایک وہ ہیں جو زبانِ قال سے یہ جملہ دہرائیں۔ دوسرے وہ لوگ ہیں جو زبانِ حال سے اس کو کہیں۔ یہ دوسرے لوگ وہ ہیں جو آنکھ اور کان اور زبان کو اس کے مقصد تخلیق کے خلاف استعمال کریں اور یہ گمان رکھیں کہ ان کا یہ عمل بس اسی دنیا میں گم ہوکر رہ جائے گا، وہ آخرت میں پہنچنے والا نہیں۔
