وَأُحِيطَ بِثَمَرِهِۦ فَأَصۡبَحَ يُقَلِّبُ كَفَّيۡهِ عَلَىٰ مَآ أَنفَقَ فِيهَا وَهِيَ خَاوِيَةٌ عَلَىٰ عُرُوشِهَا وَيَقُولُ يَٰلَيۡتَنِي لَمۡ أُشۡرِكۡ بِرَبِّيٓ أَحَدٗا
And his fruits were encompassed [by ruin], so he began to turn his hands about [in dismay] over what he had spent on it, while it had collapsed upon its trellises, and said, "Oh, I wish I had not associated with my Lord anyone
An individual may invest his money in a venture and also apply his talents to it, hoping that his investment and his talents will lead to a successful result and will bring him good returns. But, different types of untoward incidents occur and his hopes are dashed to pieces. No human device or human talent is able to save him. In this world, time and time again God creates such situations, so that people should learn a lesson from them and should not commit the mistake of giving importance to anything except God.
آدمی ایک کام میں اپنی پونجی لگاتا ہے اور اپنی قابلیت صرف کرتا ہے۔ وہ سمجھتا ہے کہ میری قابلیت اور میری پونجی کامیاب نتیجہ کے ساتھ میری طرف لوٹے گی۔ مگر مختلف قسم کے حادثات آتے ہیں اور اس کی امیدوں کو تہس نہس کردیتے ہیں۔ آدمی کی کوئی بھی تدبیر یا اس کی کوئی بھی قابلیت اس کو بچانے والی ثابت نہیں ہوتی۔
خدا موجودہ دنیامیں بار بارا اس طرح کے نمونے دکھاتا ہے تاکہ انسان اس سے سبق لے۔ تاکہ وہ خدا کے سوا کسی دوسری چیز کو اہمیت دینے کی غلطی نہ کرے۔
