وَلَئِن مَّسَّتۡهُمۡ نَفۡحَةٞ مِّنۡ عَذَابِ رَبِّكَ لَيَقُولُنَّ يَٰوَيۡلَنَآ إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَٰلِمِينَ
And if [as much as] a whiff of the punishment of your Lord should touch them, they would surely say, "O woe to us! Indeed, we have been wrongdoers
‘I warn you only through the Revelation’ means warning people with the help of arguments. The giver of the call for the Truth always supports his statements with convincing arguments and people are required to recognise the truth solely on the basis of his reasoning. Those who are blind and deaf to arguments, are jerked into awareness only when God’s power reveals itself openly after their death. Every arrogant and vain person will thereupon admit the Truth. But the acceptance of Truth at that stage will be of no avail.
’’وحی کے ذریعے ڈرانا‘‘ گویا دلیل کے ذریعہ لوگوں کو متنبہ کرنا ہے۔ حق کا داعی ہمیشہ دلیل کی زبان میں اپنی بات کو پیش کرتا ہے۔ اور دلیل ہی کی زبان میں لوگوں کو اسے پہچاننا پڑتا ہے۔ جو لوگ دلیل کے سامنے اندھے بہرے بنے رہیں، ان کی آنکھ صرف اس وقت کھلتی ہے جب کہ خدا کی طاقت کھلے طورپر ظاہر ہوجائے۔ اس وقت ہر سرکش اور متکبر فوراً مان لے گا۔ مگر اس وقت کا ماننا کسی کے کچھ کام نہ آئے گا۔
