ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِرَ ٱللَّهُ وَجِلَتۡ قُلُوبُهُمۡ وَٱلصَّـٰبِرِينَ عَلَىٰ مَآ أَصَابَهُمۡ وَٱلۡمُقِيمِي ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَمِمَّا رَزَقۡنَٰهُمۡ يُنفِقُونَ
Who, when Allah is mentioned, their hearts are fearful, and [to] the patient over what has afflicted them, and the establishers of prayer and those who spend from what We have provided them
Whatever products a man avails of in this world—be they agricultural products, animal products or industrial products—they develop in him one of two different types of mentality. With one he either thinks that all the material things he possesses are the result of his talents and hard work, or he attributes their availability to the blessings of certain pagan gods. This mentality is entirely polytheistic. With the other way of thinking, whatever a man receives is considered the gift of God. Charity and sacrifice are the prescribed methods of the external expression of these feelings. The individual offers a part of his earnings for the sake of God, and in this way, he admits that whatever he possesses is the gift of God and not the result of his talents. If a man acquires knowledge of God (ma‘rifah) in the true sense, the condition of his heart will be the same as is described as ‘the humble’ (al-mukhbitin) verse 34. Such a man will, with his body and soul, turn towards God. He will be overwhelmed with feelings of humility and modesty. He will tremble at the thought of God. He will start considering everything he has as belonging to God and not to himself.
انسان اس دنیا میں جو بھی پیداوار حاصل کرتا ہے، خواہ وہ زرعی پیدا وار ہو یا حیوانی پیداوار یا صنعتی پیداوار، ان کے بارے میں اس کے اندر دو قسم کی ممکن نفسیات پیدا ہوتی ہیں۔ایک یہ کہ یہ میری اپنی کمائی ہے یا یہ کہ وہ معبودوں کی برکت کا نتیجہ ہے۔ یہ نفسیات سراسر مشرکانہ نفسیات ہے۔
دوسری نفسیات یہ ہے کہ آدمی جو کچھ حاصل کرے اس کو وہ خدا کی طرف سے ملی ہوئی چیز سمجھے۔ عُشر اور زکوٰۃ اور قربانی اسی دوسرے جذبے کے خارجی اظہار کے مقرره طریقے ہیں۔ آدمی اپنی کمائی کا ایک حصہ خدا کی راہ میں نذر کرتا ہے اور اس طرح وہ اس بات کا عملی اقرار کرتا ہے کہ اس کے پاس جو کچھ ہے وہ خدا کا عطیہ ہے، نہ کہ محض اس کا اپنا کسب۔
انسان کو اگر صحیح معنوں میں خدا کی معرفت حاصل ہوجائے تو اس کے بعد اس کے دل کا جو حال ہوگا وہ وہی ہوگا جس کو یہاں اِخبات کہاگیا ہے۔ ایسا آدمی ہمہ تن خدا کی طرف متوجہ ہوجائے گا۔ اس پر عجز کی کیفیت طاری ہوجائے گی۔ اللہ کے تصور سے اس کا دل دہل ا ٹھے گا۔ وہ اپنی ہر چیز کوخدا کی چیز سمجھنے لگے گا، نہ کہ اپنی ذاتی چیز۔
