إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ فَرِيقٞ مِّنۡ عِبَادِي يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَآ ءَامَنَّا فَٱغۡفِرۡ لَنَا وَٱرۡحَمۡنَا وَأَنتَ خَيۡرُ ٱلرَّـٰحِمِينَ
Indeed, there was a party of My servants who said, 'Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us and have mercy upon us, and You are the best of the merciful
During the life of this world, when the realities of the Hereafter were still hidden, there were still some servants of God who had recognised God in all His Majesty and perfection. In spite of hearing the call for Truth in a purely abstract form, supported only by rational arguments, they believed in it. But they had to pay the price for believing in an alien Truth in that they became the subject of ridicule in their immediate surroundings. Despite this, they did not break off this attachment. Such steadfastness in thinking is the greatest form of patience and the reward for this is paradise in the life hereafter.
دنیا کی زندگی میں جب کہ ابھی آخرت کے حقائق آنکھوں کے سامنے نہیں آئے تھے۔ اس وقت خدا کے کچھ بندوں نے خدا کو اس کے جلال وکمال کے ساتھ پہچانا۔ ان کے سامنے حق کی دعوت مجرد دلائل کی سطح پر آئی۔ اس کے باوجود انھوں نے اس پر یقین کیا۔وہ اس کے بارے میں اس حد تک سنجیدہ ہوئے کہ اسی کو اپنی کامیابی اور ناکامی کا معیار بنا لیا۔ ایک اجنبی حق کے ساتھ اپنی کامل وابستگی کی انھیں یہ قیمت دینی پڑی کہ ماحول میں وہ مذاق کا موضوع بن گئے۔ اس کے باوجود انھوں نے اس سے اپنی وابستگی کو ختم نہیں کیا۔
یہ فکری استقامت ہی سب سے بڑا صبر ہے اور آخرت کا انعام آدمی کو اسی صبر کی قیمت میں ملتا ہے۔ وہی لوگ در اصل کامیاب ہیں جو موجودہ امتحان کی دنیا میں اس صبر کا ثبوت دے سکیں۔
