إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ جَآءُو بِٱلۡإِفۡكِ عُصۡبَةٞ مِّنكُمۡۚ لَا تَحۡسَبُوهُ شَرّٗا لَّكُمۖ بَلۡ هُوَ خَيۡرٞ لَّكُمۡۚ لِكُلِّ ٱمۡرِيٕٖ مِّنۡهُم مَّا ٱكۡتَسَبَ مِنَ ٱلۡإِثۡمِۚ وَٱلَّذِي تَوَلَّىٰ كِبۡرَهُۥ مِنۡهُمۡ لَهُۥ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٞ
Indeed, those who came with falsehood are a group among you. Do not think it bad for you; rather it is good for you. For every person among them is what [punishment] he has earned from the sin, and he who took upon himself the greater portion thereof - for him is a great punishment
If a preacher is really treading the path of Truth, then any false propaganda issued against him in fact proves useful to him, because the Truth is ultimately bound to prevail. And when the reality becomes clear, it becomes even more evident that the preacher is on the right path, so that those wavering on this score enter the realm of certainty. They come to realize that indeed the opponents of God’s envoy have nothing to offer except false allegations and baseless accusations. The main active participant in the campaign to vilify ‘A’ishah was the notorious hypocrite, ‘Abdullah ibn Ubayy. But he was not given any punishment whatsoever. He died a natural death, but severe punishment in the Hereafter was announced for him in the Quran. After the incident mentioned above, ‘Umar suggested to the Prophet Muhammad that he, (‘Abdullah ibn Ubayy), be put to death. The Prophet replied, ‘Oh, ‘Umar! What would happen if people started saying that Muhammad killed his own Companions?’ We gather from this that policy considerations sometimes warrant even major criminals being spared the punishment they deserve in this world, leaving their ultimate fate to be decided in the Hereafter.
داعی اگر واقعۃ ً سچائی پر ہے تو اس کے خلاف جھوٹے پروپیگنڈے ہمیشہ اس کے حق میں مفید ثابت ہوتے ہیں کیوں کہ جھو ٹے پروپیگنڈوں کی حقیقت آخر کا رکھل کر رہتی ہے۔ اور جب حقیقت کھلتی ہے تو ایک طرف داعی کا برسر حق ہونا اور زیادہ واضح ہوجاتا ہے اور جو لوگ اس کے بارے میں مذبذب تھے وہ اس کے بعد یقین کے درجہ تک پہنچ جاتے ہیں۔ وہ عملاً دیکھ لیتے ہیں کہ داعیٔ حق کے مخالفین کے پاس جھوٹے الزام اور بے بنیاد اتہام کے سوا اور کچھ نہیں۔
حضرت عائشہ ؓصدیقہ کے خلاف الزام میں سب سے بڑا حصہ لینے والا مشہور منافق عبد اللہ بن ابی تھا۔ اس کے ليے قرآن میں سخت اخروی عذاب کا اعلان کیاگیا۔ مگر دنیا میں اس کو کوئی سزا نہیں دی گئی، یہاں تک کہ وہ اپنی طبعی موت مرگیا۔اس واقعہ کے بعد حضرت عمرؓ نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے کہا کہ اس شخص کو قتل کردیا جائے۔ آپ نے فرمایا اے عمرؓ، کیا ہوگا جب لوگ کہیں گے کہ محمدؐ اپنے ساتھیوں کو قتل کرتے ہیں (فَكَيْفَ يَا عُمَرُ إذَا تَحَدَّثَ النَّاسُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا يَقْتُلُ أَصْحَابَهُ) سیرت ابن ہشام، جلد 2، صفحہ

۔اس سے اندازہ ہوتا ہے کہ بعض اوقات حکمت کا تقاضا یہ ہوتا ہے کہ بڑے بڑے مجرمین کو بھی دنیا میں سزا نہ دی جائے بلکہ ان کے معاملہ کو آخرت کے اوپر چھوڑ دیا جائے۔
