وَٱجۡعَلۡنِي مِن وَرَثَةِ جَنَّةِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ
And place me among the inheritors of the Garden of Pleasure
These verses deal with right understanding, i.e. seeing things as they really are. For a subject of God, this is the greatest blessing next to prophethood. That is why it is mentioned in a tradition which says, ‘If God wants to do something good to a man, He bestows on him the understanding of religion.’ Whatever Abraham asked for in his prayer was granted to him, but the prayer for the pardon of his father (Azar) was rejected. One can imagine from this that prayer (du‘a) is mostly a matter between God and His subject. One man’s prayer cannot obtain pardon for another man. Before Almighty God, real value attaches to a pure heart (qalb salim). This means the right kind of pure heart, i.e. a heart which is free from the tendency to ascribe partners to God, feelings of hypocrisy, jealousy and ill-will. In other words, the believer should go before God with a heart as pure as it was at the time of his birth. He should not present himself before God with any other heart.
اللہ تعالیٰ نے جب حضرت موسیٰ کو خبر دی کہ تمھاری قوم فتنہ میں مبتلا ہوگئی ہے تو وہ شدید جذبات میںبھرے ہوئے قوم کی طرف واپس آئے۔ انھوںنے ان کو یاد دلایا کہ ابھی ابھی خدا نے تمھارے اوپر اتنے احسانات کيے ہیں اور اپنی اتنی زیادہ نشانیاں تمھارے لیے ظاہر کی ہیں۔ پھر کیسے تم اتنی جلد سب بھول کر گمراہی میں پڑ گئے۔
حضرت موسیٰ بنی اسرائیل کے لیے اللہ کی کتاب لینے گئے۔ اور بنی اسرائیل کی بڑی تعداد کچھ لوگوں کی باتوں ميں آکر غیر اللہ کی پرستش میں مصروف ہوگئی۔ اس سے اندازہ ہوتاہے کہ بنی اسرائیل مصر کے مشرکانہ ماحول سے کتنا زیادہ متاثر ہوچکے تھے۔ اور کیوں یہ ضروری ہوگیاتھا کہ دوبارہ توحید کا پرستار بنانے کے لیے انھیں مصر کے ماحول سے نکال کر باہر لے جایا جائے۔
حضرت موسیٰ نے فرعون کے مقابلہ میں جو کچھ کیا وہ دعوت دین کا کام تھا۔ اور آپ نے بنی اسرائیل کے سلسلہ میں جو کچھ کیا وہ تحفظ دین کا کام۔ دونوں کام آپ نے ساتھ ساتھ انجام دئے۔ اس سے دونوں کاموں کی اہمیت معلوم ہوتی ہے۔ مسلمان اگر بگڑے ہوئے ہوں تو اس بنا پر دعوتِ عام کا کام روکا نہیں جاسکتا۔ اور اگر دعوت عام کا کام کرنا ہو تو وہ اس طرح نہیں کیا جائے گا کہ داخلی اصلاح کا کام بند کردیاجائے۔
