وَمِنۡ ءَايَٰتِهِۦٓ أَن يُرۡسِلَ ٱلرِّيَاحَ مُبَشِّرَٰتٖ وَلِيُذِيقَكُم مِّن رَّحۡمَتِهِۦ وَلِتَجۡرِيَ ٱلۡفُلۡكُ بِأَمۡرِهِۦ وَلِتَبۡتَغُواْ مِن فَضۡلِهِۦ وَلَعَلَّكُمۡ تَشۡكُرُونَ
And of His signs is that He sends the winds as bringers of good tidings and to let you taste His mercy and so the ships may sail at His command and so you may seek of His bounty, and perhaps you will be grateful
The blowing of a cool breeze before the start of the rains announces the fact that the God of this world is the most Kind and Merciful. Sailing across the seas is very important for the promotion of civilization. But, this is possible only when the winds blow within certain limits. Similarly, in the present age, the possibility of air-travel is dependent upon the fact that God has arranged to maintain a layer of air on the surface of the earth and given human beings the knowledge of aerodynamics needed to design air worthy plans. All these arrangements have been made with a view to ensuring that man lives in the world as a grateful subject of God. The prophets of God appeared in the world in order to draw the attention of the people to these facts. But, while some accepted them others rejected them. Then, God helped those who accepted them and destroyed the deniers. The same fate on a larger scale awaits these two categories of human beings in the life Hereafter.
بارش سے پہلے ٹھنڈی ہواؤں کا آنا اس بات کا اعلان هے کہ اس دنیا کا خدا رحمتوں والا خدا ہے۔ سمندری جہاز رانی تمدن کےلیے انتہائی اہم ہے۔ مگر سمندری جہازرانی اسی وقت ممکن ہوتی ہے جب کہ ہوا ایک خاص حد کے اندر رہے۔ اسی طرح موجودہ زمانہ میں ہوائی سفر کا بھی بہت گہرا تعلق اس انتظام سے ہے کہ خدانے زمین کی سطح کے اوپر ہوا کا دبیز غلاف قائم کر رکھا ہے۔
یہ سارا اہتمام اس ليے کیاگیا ہے تا کہ انسان خدا کا شکر گزار بندہ بن کر رہے۔ خدا کے پیغمبر انھیں حقیقتوں کی طرف لوگوں کو متوجہ کرنے کےلیے آئے۔ پھر کچھ لوگوں نے ان کو مانا، اور کچھ لوگوں نے ان کا انکار کردیا۔ اس وقت خدا نے ماننے والوں کی مدد کی اور انکار کرنے والوں کو ہلاک کردیا۔ یہی معاملہ دونوں قسم کے انسانوں کے ساتھ آخرت میں زیادہ بڑے پیمانہ پر پیش آئے گا۔
