إِنَّمَا يُؤۡمِنُ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِّرُواْ بِهَا خَرُّواْۤ سُجَّدٗاۤ وَسَبَّحُواْ بِحَمۡدِ رَبِّهِمۡ وَهُمۡ لَا يَسۡتَكۡبِرُونَ۩
Only those believe in Our verses who, when they are reminded by them, fall down in prostration and exalt [Allah] with praise of their Lord, and they are not arrogant
For an individual to avail of guidance, his willingness to accept the Truth is the most important factor. Only those who, by temperament, are ready to accept the Truth whenever it presents itself before them—whether it be revealed through a person of lesser importance, whether such acceptance be a tacit admission of one’s own error, or whether such acceptance leads to upsetting the existing system of one’s life—are capable of availing of guidance. Only those who have such a capacity will find the Truth. Those who want to accept the Truth, but at the same time want their ‘greatness’ to remain intact, will never find it. A man who sacrifices his greatness for the sake of Truth actually finds the greatest thing, namely, the greatness of God. God enters his life in such a way that he sleeps thinking about Him and wakes up with memories of God. His hopes and fears are all linked with God. He surrenders all his possessions to God to the point of not keeping back anything for himself. Such people will forever relish the bounties of the eternal Gardens of Paradise.
ہدایت کے سلسلہ میں سب سے اہم چیز مادۂ اعتراف ہے۔ہدایت صرف ان لوگوں کو ملتی ہے جن کے اندر یہ مزاج ہو کہ جب سچائی ان کے سامنے آئے تو وہ فوراً اس کو مان لیں۔ خواہ سچائی بظاہر ایک چھوٹے آدمی کے ذریعہ سامنے آئی ہو، خواہ اس کو ماننا اپنے آپ کو غلط قرار دینے کے ہم معنی ہو، خواہ اس کو مان کر اپنی زندگی کا نقشہ درہم برہم ہوتا ہوا نظر آئے، جن لوگوں کے اندر یہ حوصلہ ہو وہی سچائی کوپالیتے ہیں۔ جو لوگ یہ چاہیں کہ وہ سچائی کو اس طرح مانیں کہ ان کی بڑائی بدستور قائم رہے ایسے لوگوں کو سچائی کبھی نہیں ملتی۔
جو آدمی حق کی خاطر اپنی بڑائی کو کھودے وہ سب سے بڑی چیز کو پالیتا ہے اور وہ خدا کی بڑائی ہے اس کی زندگی میں خدا اس طرح شامل ہو جاتا ہے کہ وہ اس کی یادوں کے ساتھ سوئے اور وہ اس کی یادوں کے ساتھ جاگے۔ اس کے خوف اور امید کے جذبات تمام تر خدا کے ساتھ وابستہ ہوجائیں۔ وہ اپنا اثاثہ اس طرح خدا کے حوالے کردیتا ہے کہ اس میں سے کچھ بچا کر نہیں رکھتا۔ یہی وہ لوگ ہیں جن کی آنکھیں جنت کے ابدی باغوں میں ٹھنڈی ہوں گی۔
