سُنَّةَ ٱللَّهِ فِي ٱلَّذِينَ خَلَوۡاْ مِن قَبۡلُۖ وَلَن تَجِدَ لِسُنَّةِ ٱللَّهِ تَبۡدِيلٗا
[This is] the established way of Allah with those who passed on before; and you will not find in the way of Allah any change
Enquiring about the exact day when the Day of Judgement would arrive did not mean that the enquiries had no belief whatsoever in Judgement Day. This was not meant to mock the Day of Judgement, but to ridicule the person who gave news of that Day. They did not deny that Judgement Day would actually come, but they did not believe in the nature of that Day, of which the Prophet and his companions gave specific details. Their real fault was that they gave undue importance to the leaders of their community, rather than showing due respect to the Prophet. That is why the words of the prominent persons of their community appeared to them more worthy of consideration than the words of the Prophet. But, on the Day of Judgement when the reality is revealed, they will regret that they could not differentiate between real greatness and false greatness, and that; having been deceived by false greatness, they went astray.
مسلمان عورت جب کسی ضرورت سے اپنے گھر کے باہر نکلے تو وہ کس طرح نکلے۔اس کو ایسے لباس میں نکلنا چاہيے جو اس بات کا ایک خاموش اعلان ہو کہ وہ ایک شریف اور حیادار عورت ہے۔ وہ سنجیدہ ضرورت کے تحت باہر نکلی ہے، نہ کہ تفریح اور دل لگی کےلیے۔ سادہ کپڑے، حیا دار چال، چادر یا برقعہ سے جسم ڈھکا ہوا ہونا اسی کی ایک علامت ہے۔ حقیقت یہ ہے کہ جسمانی نمائش کے ساتھ باہر نکلنا دوسروں کو دعوتِ التفات دینا ہے۔ اور جسمانی نمائش کے بغیر نکلنا گویا عمل کی زبان میں دوسروں سے یہ کہنا ہے کہ میں صرف اپنے کام سے باہر نکلی ہوں، مجھے تم سے کوئی مطلب نہیں۔
’’دل کے مریضوں ‘‘ سے یہاں مراد غالباً یہود ہیں۔ کیوں کہ وہی لوگ مسلمانوں کو اور مسلم خواتین کو زیادہ پریشان کررہے تھے اور یہی لوگ تھے جو مذکورہ تنبیہ کے مطابق قتل کيے گئے یا شہر سے نکال دئے گئے تھے۔
