مَّا يَفۡتَحِ ٱللَّهُ لِلنَّاسِ مِن رَّحۡمَةٖ فَلَا مُمۡسِكَ لَهَاۖ وَمَا يُمۡسِكۡ فَلَا مُرۡسِلَ لَهُۥ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِۦۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ
Whatever Allah grants to people of mercy - none can withhold it; and whatever He withholds - none can release it thereafter. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise
God created angels to carry messages and execute orders. But, Satan misled people to believe that the angels had a distinct identity of their own and that they could be the source of bringing blessings in this world and salvation in the Hereafter. So, some communities drew imaginary pictures of them, giving them names ‘Lat’ and ‘Manat’ and started worshipping them. Some communities treated them with the reverence due to gods and goddesses. In the present age, reverence for the ‘law of nature’ is the modern version of a similar misconception. But the fact is that both the angels and the law of nature are subject to the will of One God alone.
فرشتوں کو اللہ تعالیٰ نے پیغام رسانی کےلیے اور اپنے احکام کی تنفیذ کےلیے پیدا کیا ہے۔ مگر شیطان نے لوگوں کو سکھایا کہ فرشتے مستقل بالذات حیثیت رکھتے ہیں۔ وہ دنیا میں برکت اورآخرت میں نجات کا ذریعہ بن سکتے ہیں۔ چنانچہ کچھ قومیں لات اور منات جیسے ناموں سے ان کی فرضی تصویریں بنا کر ان کی عبادت کرنے لگیں۔ کچھ قوموں نے ان کو دیوی دیوتا قرار دے کر انھیں پوجنا شروع کردیا۔ موجودہ زمانہ میں قانون فطرت (law of nature)کی تعظیم بھی اسی گمراہی کا جدیدایڈیشن ہے۔ مگر حقیقت یہ ہے کہ فرشتے ہوں یا قانون فطرت، سب ایک خدا کے محکوم ہیں۔ سب ایک خدا کے کارگزار ہیں، خواہ وہ دو بازوؤں والے ہوں یا 600 بازوؤں والے یا 600 کرور بازوؤں والے۔
