لَا يَسۡتَطِيعُونَ نَصۡرَهُمۡ وَهُمۡ لَهُمۡ جُندٞ مُّحۡضَرُونَ
They are not able to help them, and they [themselves] are for them soldiers in attendance
Cattle and other domestic animals are living examples which show that this material world has been created by its Creator in such a way that man should be able to harness it according to his needs. On this amenability of the material world stands the entire structure of human civilization. If horses and bulls were to be as wild as bears and wolves, or if iron and petroleum were to be as uncontrollable as volcanic lava, the evolution of human civilization would become impossible. Therefore, man should be extremely grateful to his Gracious Creator. But, he worships beings other than God and when he is advised to desist, he pays no heed. Undoubtedly, this is the worst type of disobedience to the divine rule, the aftermath of which nobody can escape.
مویشی جانور ایک قسم کے زندہ علامت ہیں جو بتاتے ہیں کہ مادی دنیا کو اس کے بنانے والے نے اس طرح بنایا ہے کہ انسان اس کو مسخر کرکے اس کو استعمال کرسکے۔ مادی دنیا کی اسی صلاحیت کے اوپر انسانی تہذیب کی پوری عمارت قائم ہے۔ اگر گھوڑے اور بیل میں بھی وہی وحشیانہ مزاج ہو جو ریچھ اور بھیڑئے میں ہوتاہے یا لوہا اور پٹرول اسی طرح انسان کے قابوسے باہرہوں جس طرح زمین کے اندر کا آتش فشانی مادہ انسان کے قابو سے باہر ہے تو تہذیبِ انسانی کا ارتقاء ناممکن ہوجائے۔
جس خالق نے یہ عظیم احسانات کيے ہیں، انسان کو چاہيے تھا کہ وہ اسی کاشکر کرے اور اسی کا عبادت گزار بنے۔ مگر وہ دوسروں کو اپنامعبود بناتا ہے،اور جب اس کو نصیحت کی جائے تو وہ اس پر دھیان نہیں دیتا۔ یہ بلاشبہ سب سے بڑی سرکشی ہے جس کے انجام سے بچنا کسی کےلیے ممکن نہیں۔
