وَلَقَدۡ أُوحِيَ إِلَيۡكَ وَإِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِكَ لَئِنۡ أَشۡرَكۡتَ لَيَحۡبَطَنَّ عَمَلُكَ وَلَتَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلۡخَٰسِرِينَ
And it was already revealed to you and to those before you that if you should associate [anything] with Allah, your work would surely become worthless, and you would surely be among the losers
The existence of the Universe is proof of the existence of its Creator. Similarly, the conduct of the affairs of the universe in a meaningful and systematic manner proves that, at all times, a Supreme Caretaker is watching over it. If one gives serious consideration to these things, one will find in the universe the sign of its Creator and also the sign of its Organizer and Designer. Under these circumstances, those who worship beings other than God are indulging in an action which has absolutely no value in the present universe, because as the Creator and Organizer is one and the same, worshipping Him alone will be of avail to man. Worshipping anybody other than that Being amounts to calling upon a totally non-existent entity.
کائنات کی موجودگی اس کے خالق کی موجودگی کا ثبوت ہے۔ اسی طرح کائنات جتنے با معنی اور جس قدر منظم طور پر چل رہی ہے وہ اس کا ثبوت ہے کہ ہر آن ایک نگرانی کرنے والا اس کی نگرانی کررہا ہے۔ آدمی اگر سنجیدگی کے ساتھ غور کرے تو وہ کائنات میں اس کے خالق کی نشانی پالے گا اور اسی طرح اس کے ناظم اور مدبر کی نشانی بھی۔
ایسی حالت میں جو لوگ ایک خدا کے سوا دوسری ہستیوں کے عبادت گزار بنتے ہیں وہ ایک ایسا عمل کررہے ہیں جس کی موجودہ کائنات میں کوئی قیمت نہیں۔ کیوں کہ خالق اور وکیل جب صرف ایک ہے تو اسی کی عبادت آدمی کو نفع دے سکتی ہے۔ اس کے سوا کسی اور کی عبادت کرنا گویا ایسے معبود کو پکارنا ہے جس کا سرے سے کوئی وجود ہی نہیں۔
