قِيلَ ٱدۡخُلُوٓاْ أَبۡوَٰبَ جَهَنَّمَ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَاۖ فَبِئۡسَ مَثۡوَى ٱلۡمُتَكَبِّرِينَ
[To them] it will be said, "Enter the gates of Hell to abide eternally therein, and wretched is the residence of the arrogant
There are varying degrees in rejecting and ignoring the Truth. In accordance with that would be the degrees or grades of Hell. In the Hereafter, people will be divided into different groups according to their degree and then every group will be put in that part of hell which it deserves. At the time of people’s entry into hell, the conversation that will ensue among the angels watching over Hell has been described in the above verses. The real reason for non-acceptance of the truth by the deniers of truth is always their false pride. However, the pride of the deniers is not really directed against the Truth but against the presenter of the Truth. To a man, the presenter of Truth appears to be a smaller person than himself. Therefore, that man also considers the Truth a smaller thing and contemptuously ignores it.
حق سے اعراض وانکارکرنے کے درجے ہیں۔ اسی لحاظ سے جہنم والوں کے بھی درجے ہیں۔ آخرت میں ان کو ان کے درجات کے لحاظ سے مختلف گروہوں میں تقسیم کیا جائے گا اور پھر ہر گروہ کو جہنم کے اس طبقہ میں ڈال دیا جائے گا جس کا وہ مستحق ہے۔ اس موقع پر جہنم کی نگرانی کرنے والے فرشتوں کی گفتگو سے اس منظر کی تصویر کشی ہورہی ہے جو لوگوں کے جہنم میں داخل ہونے کے وقت پیش آئے گی۔
جو لوگ موجودہ دنیا میں حق کو نہیں مانتے ان کے نہ ماننے کی اصل وجہ ہمیشہ تکبر ہوتاہے۔ تاہم ان کا تکبر حقیقۃً حق کے مقابلہ میں نہیں ہوتا بلکہ وہ حق کو پیش کرنے والے شخص کے مقابلہ میں ہوتاہے۔ حق کو پیش کرنے والا بظاہر ایک آدمی کو اپنے سے چھوٹا دکھائی دیتا ہے اس ليے وہ آدمی حق کو بھی چھوٹا سمجھ لیتاہے۔ اور اس کو حقارت کے ساتھ نظر انداز کردیتاہے۔
