وَقَالَ فِرۡعَوۡنُ ذَرُونِيٓ أَقۡتُلۡ مُوسَىٰ وَلۡيَدۡعُ رَبَّهُۥٓۖ إِنِّيٓ أَخَافُ أَن يُبَدِّلَ دِينَكُمۡ أَوۡ أَن يُظۡهِرَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ ٱلۡفَسَادَ
And Pharaoh said, "Let me kill Moses and let him call upon his Lord. Indeed, I fear that he will change your religion or that he will cause corruption in the land
‘He may cause you to change your religion’ here means that he might change the form of religion which had come down to them from their ancestors, so that a new religion might prevail among the people. Pharaoh expressed his intention of slaying Moses, otherwise he might find supporters among the people of his community and, with their help, try to create unrest (fasad)in the country; he wanted him to be killed at the very outset. The greatest impediment to the acceptance of Truth is man’s overweening pride. In order to elevate himself, he wants to lower the Truth. But the supreme supporter of Truth is God, the Lord of the Universe. In the beginning, the opponents of Truth may apparently suppress it, but God’s support guarantees that finally it will be the Truth which will prevail.
’’تمھارا دین بدل ڈالے‘‘ کا مطلب ہے تمھارامذہب بدل ڈالے۔ یعنی تم جس مذہبی طریقہ پر ہو اور جو تمھارے اکابر سے چلا آرہا ہے، وہ ختم ہوجائے اور لوگوں کے درمیان نیا مذہب رائج ہوجائے۔ یہ ایسا ہی ہے جیسے ہندستان میںكچھ انتہا پسند لوگ کہتے ہیں کہ مذہب کی تبلیغ کو قانونی طورپر بند کرو، ورنہ دوسرے مذہب والے اپنی تبلیغ سے دیش کے دھرم کو بدل ڈالیں گے۔
فساد سے مراد بد امنی ہے۔ یعنی موسیٰ کو اپنے ہم قوموں میں ساتھ دینے والے مل جائیں گے۔ اور ان کو لے کر وہ ملک میں انتشار پیدا کرنے کی کوشش کریں گے۔ اس ليے ہم کو چاہيے کہ ہم شروع ہی میں انھیں قتل کردیں۔
حق کو ماننے میں سب سے بڑی رکاوٹ آدمی کی متکبرانہ نفسیات ہوتی ہے۔ وہ اپنے کو اونچا رکھنے کی خاطر حق کو نیچا کردینا چاہتا ہے۔ مگر حق کا مددگار اللہ رب العالمین ہے۔ ابتداء ًخواہ اس کے مخالفین بظاہر اس کو دبالیں مگر اللہ کی مدد اس بات کی ضمانت ہے کہ آخری کامیابی بہر حال حق کو حاصل ہوگی۔
