ٱلَّذِينَ يَجۡتَنِبُونَ كَبَـٰٓئِرَ ٱلۡإِثۡمِ وَٱلۡفَوَٰحِشَ إِلَّا ٱللَّمَمَۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ وَٰسِعُ ٱلۡمَغۡفِرَةِۚ هُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِكُمۡ إِذۡ أَنشَأَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَإِذۡ أَنتُمۡ أَجِنَّةٞ فِي بُطُونِ أُمَّهَٰتِكُمۡۖ فَلَا تُزَكُّوٓاْ أَنفُسَكُمۡۖ هُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَنِ ٱتَّقَىٰٓ
Those who avoid the major sins and immoralities, only [committing] slight ones. Indeed, your Lord is vast in forgiveness. He was most knowing of you when He produced you from the earth and when you were fetuses in the wombs of your mothers. So do not claim yourselves to be pure; He is most knowing of who fears Him
Man has been created with human weaknesses. So, it is not required that he be as pure as the angels. Almighty God has given full guidance to man as to what he should do and what he should not. However, man may be pardoned in the case of lesser offences (lamam), i.e. indulging in some mischief because of fleeting emotion, on the condition that he should immediately realise his lapse and, being ashamed of it, seek pardon of his Lord.
کائنات اپنے حد درجہ محکم نظام کے ساتھ بتا رہی ہے کہ اس کا خالق و مالک بے حد طاقت ور ہے۔ یہی واقعہ یہ سمجھنے کے لیے کافی ہے کہ وہ انسان کو پکڑے گا اور جب وہ انسان کو پکڑے گا تو کسی بھی شخص کے لیے اس کی پکڑ سے بچنا ممکن نہ ہوگا۔
انسان کو بشری کمزوریوں کے ساتھ پیدا کیا گیا ہے۔ اس لیے انسان سے فرشتوں جیسی پاکیزگی کا مطالبہ نہیں کیا گیا۔ اللہ تعالیٰ نے انسان کو پوری طرح بتا دیا ہے کہ اس کو کیا کرنا ہے اور کیا نہیں کرنا ہے۔ تاہم انسان کے لیے ’’لَمَمَ‘‘ کی معافی ہے۔ یعنی وقتی جذبہ کے تحت کسی برائی میں پڑجانا، بشرطیکہ آدمی فوراً بعد ہی اس کو محسوس کرے اور شرمندہ ہو کر اپنے رب سے معافی مانگے۔
