وَقَوۡمَ نُوحٖ مِّن قَبۡلُۖ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ هُمۡ أَظۡلَمَ وَأَطۡغَىٰ
And the people of Noah before. Indeed, it was they who were [even] more unjust and oppressing
A nation makes superb progress and surpasses other nations. It is apparently impossible for it to be overpowered. Thereafter, certain factors come into play and that nation is destroyed or faces decline and fades into oblivion. This indicates that there is a Super Power over human beings that decides about the future of nations. If even such events of history do not impart a lesson to a human being, what will?
ایک قوم ترقی کرتی ہے۔ وہ دوسری قوموں سے اوپر اٹھ جاتی ہے۔ بظاہر ناممکن نظر آنے لگتا ہے کہ کوئی اس کو مغلوب کرسکے۔ اس کے بعد ایسے اسباب ہوتے ہیں کہ وہ قوم هلاک ہوجاتی ہے یا تنزل کا شکار ہو کر تاریخ گزشتہ کا موضوع بن جاتی ہے۔ یہ واقعہ ظاہر کرتا ہے کہ انسانوں کے اوپر بھی کوئی طاقت ہے، جو قوموں کے مستقبل کا فیصلہ کرتی ہے۔ تاریخ کے یہ واضح واقعات بھی اگر انسان کو سبق نہ دیں تو وہ کون سا واقعہ ہوگا جس سے انسان اپنے لیے سبق لے۔
