وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ بِٱللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِۦٓ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلصِّدِّيقُونَۖ وَٱلشُّهَدَآءُ عِندَ رَبِّهِمۡ لَهُمۡ أَجۡرُهُمۡ وَنُورُهُمۡۖ وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَكَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ
And those who have believed in Allah and His messengers - those are [in the ranks of] the supporters of truth and the martyrs, with their Lord. For them is their reward and their light. But those who have disbelieved and denied Our verses - those are the companions of Hellfire
To give one’s possessions to others and to spend on the requirements of religion are very great deeds. Those who spend like this, whether men or women, have proved their steadfastness in faith. In an atmosphere of doubt about the Truth, they were able to see the Truth. Such action on their part will become a beacon for them in the Hereafter. They will be treated as accepters of God’s signs. They will be given the status of God’s witnesses, i.e. presenters of the report of the deeds of the people in the Court of the Hereafter.
اللہ کی رضا کے لیے دوسروں کو مال دینا اور دین کی ضرورتوں پر خرچ کرنا بہت بڑا عمل ہے۔ جو مرد اور عورت اس طرح خرچ کریں وہی وہ لوگ ہیں جنہوں نے اپنے ایمان کا ثبوت دیا۔ انہوں نے حق کے خلاف شبہات کے ماحول میں حق کو دیکھا اس لیے ان کا یہ عمل آخرت میں ان کے لیے روشنی بن جائے گا۔ وہ خدا کی نشانیوں کو ماننے والے قرار پائیں گے۔ ان کو اللہ کے گواہ کا درجہ دیا جائے گا، یعنی آخرت کی عدالت میں لوگوں کے احوال بتانے والے۔
