لَأَنتُمۡ أَشَدُّ رَهۡبَةٗ فِي صُدُورِهِم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ قَوۡمٞ لَّا يَفۡقَهُونَ
You [believers] are more fearful within their breasts than Allah. That is because they are a people who do not understand
God’s power is not outwardly visible. But the power of human beings is plainly visible. For this reason, those who are concerned only with appearances are fearless of God, but if they come across a human being who is stronger than the others, they feel afraid of him. Their lack of awareness with regard to God creates in them a lack of consciousness of the world also. Those who become united for some negative purpose cannot remain united for long, because, for the purpose of long-lasting unity, a positive basis is required and that is precisely what they do not have.
خدا کی طاقت بظاہر دکھائی نہیں دیتی۔ مگر انسانوں کی طاقت کھلی آنکھ سے نظر آتی ہے۔ اس بنا پر ظاہر پرست لوگوں کا حال یہ ہوتا ہے کہ وہ اللہ سے تو بے خوف رہتے ہیں مگر انسانوں میں اگر کوئی زور آور دکھائی دے تو وہ فوراً اس سے ڈرنے کی ضرورت محسوس کرنے لگتے ہیں۔ خدا کے بارے میں ان کی بے شعوری انہیں ان کی دنیا کے بارے میں بھی بے شعور بنا دیتی ہے۔
ایسے لوگ جن کو صرف منفی مقصد نے متحد کیا ہو وہ زیادہ دیر تک اپنا اتحاد باقی نہیں رکھ پاتے کیونکہ دیرپا اتحاد کے لیے مثبت بنیاد درکار ہے اور وہ ان کے پاس موجود ہی نہیں۔
