وَلَوۡلَآ أَن كَتَبَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلۡجَلَآءَ لَعَذَّبَهُمۡ فِي ٱلدُّنۡيَاۖ وَلَهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ عَذَابُ ٱلنَّارِ
And if not that Allah had decreed for them evacuation, He would have punished them in [this] world, and for them in the Hereafter is the punishment of the Fire
Those who opposed the Prophet were destined to suffer such punishment. During the siege of the Banu al-Nadir, some trees in their gardens were cut down as a matter of military strategy. This was done on the direct orders of the government. However, this was not the general rule. This was an exceptional case concerning the immediate addressees of the Prophet.
یہود کو جو سزا دی گئی، وہ اللہ کے قانون کے تحت تھی۔ یہ سزا ان لوگوں کے لیے مقدر ہے جو پیغمبر کے مخالف بن کر کھڑے ہوں۔ بنو نضیر کے محاصرہ کے وقت ان کے باغات کے کچھ درخت جنگی مصلحت کے تحت کاٹے گئے تھے۔ یہ بھی براہِ راست خدا کے حکم سے ہوا۔ تاہم یہ کوئی عام اصول نہیں۔ یہ ایک استثنائی معاملہ ہے جو پیغمبر کے براہ راست مخاطبین کے ساتھ ایک یا دوسری شکل میں اختیار کیا جاتا ہے۔
