يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا تَتَّخِذُواْ عَدُوِّي وَعَدُوَّكُمۡ أَوۡلِيَآءَ تُلۡقُونَ إِلَيۡهِم بِٱلۡمَوَدَّةِ وَقَدۡ كَفَرُواْ بِمَا جَآءَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡحَقِّ يُخۡرِجُونَ ٱلرَّسُولَ وَإِيَّاكُمۡ أَن تُؤۡمِنُواْ بِٱللَّهِ رَبِّكُمۡ إِن كُنتُمۡ خَرَجۡتُمۡ جِهَٰدٗا فِي سَبِيلِي وَٱبۡتِغَآءَ مَرۡضَاتِيۚ تُسِرُّونَ إِلَيۡهِم بِٱلۡمَوَدَّةِ وَأَنَا۠ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَآ أَخۡفَيۡتُمۡ وَمَآ أَعۡلَنتُمۡۚ وَمَن يَفۡعَلۡهُ مِنكُمۡ فَقَدۡ ضَلَّ سَوَآءَ ٱلسَّبِيلِ
O you who have believed, do not take My enemies and your enemies as allies, extending to them affection while they have disbelieved in what came to you of the truth, having driven out the Prophet and yourselves [only] because you believe in Allah, your Lord. If you have come out for jihad in My cause and seeking means to My approval, [take them not as friends]. You confide to them affection, but I am most knowing of what you have concealed and what you have declared. And whoever does it among you has certainly strayed from the soundness of the way
When the Prophet Muhammad decided to proceed against Makkah, he made his plans very quietly so that the Makkans should have no advance warning. At that time a Badri Companion, Hatib ibn ‘Ali Balta‘a, secretly wrote to the Makkans about the plan in a letter and sent it covertly in the name of some Makkans, so that the Makkans would be grateful to him and in return they would refrain from inflicting harm upon his family members who were staying in Makkah. But this betrayal became known through Revelation and the messenger was caught on the way. Every such action is against the demand of Faith.
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے جب مکہ کی طرف اقدام کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا تو آپ نے اس کا پورا منصوبہ نہایت خاموشی کے ساتھ بنایا تاکہ مکہ والے مقابلہ کی تیاری نہ کرسکیں۔ اس وقت ایک بدری صحابی حاطب بن ابی بلتعہ نے اس منصوبہ کو ایک خط میں لکھا اور اس کو خفیہ طور پر مکہ والوں کے نام روانہ کردیا۔ تاکہ مکہ والے ان سے خوش ہوجائیں اور ان کے اہل وعیال کو نہ ستائیں جو مکہ میں مقیم ہیں۔ مگر وحی کے ذریعہ آپ كو اس کی اطلاع ہوگئی اور قاصد کو راستہ ہی میں پکڑ لیا گیا۔ اس قسم کا ہر فعل ایمانی تقاضے کے خلاف ہے۔
جب یہ صورت حال ہو کہ اسلام اور غیر اسلام کے الگ الگ محاذ بن جائیں تو اس وقت اہل اسلام کی ذمہ داری ہوتی ہے کہ وہ غیر اسلامی محاذ سے دل چسپی کا تعلق توڑ لیں۔ خواہ غیر اسلامی محاذ میں ان کے عزیز اور رشتہ دار ہی کیوں نہ ہوں۔ حق کو ماننا اور حق کا انکار کرنے والوں سے قلبی تعلق رکھنا دو متضاد چیزیں ہیں جو ایک ساتھ جمع نہیں ہوسکتیں۔
