وَمَا يَذۡكُرُونَ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُۚ هُوَ أَهۡلُ ٱلتَّقۡوَىٰ وَأَهۡلُ ٱلۡمَغۡفِرَةِ
And they will not remember except that Allah wills. He is worthy of fear and adequate for [granting] forgiveness
Advice, howsoever reasonable and well-supported by arguments, can be effective only when the hearer is serious about it. If the hearer is not serious, the advice will not reach his heart. Such arguments as deeply move a serious-minded person, will only cause a frivolous person to engage in meaningless discussions.
نصیحت خواہ کتنی ہی مدلل ہو، سننے والے کے ليے وہ اسی وقت موثر بنتی ہے جب کہ وہ اس کے بارے میں سنجیدہ ہو۔ اگر سننے والا سنجیدہ نہ ہو تو نصیحت اس کے دل میں نہیں اترے گی، جو دلیل ایک سنجیدہ انسان کو تڑپادیتی ہے وہ صرف اس کی لایعنی بحثوں میں اضافہ کرنے کا باعث بنے گی۔
