۞وَلَوۡ يُعَجِّلُ ٱللَّهُ لِلنَّاسِ ٱلشَّرَّ ٱسۡتِعۡجَالَهُم بِٱلۡخَيۡرِ لَقُضِيَ إِلَيۡهِمۡ أَجَلُهُمۡۖ فَنَذَرُ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَرۡجُونَ لِقَآءَنَا فِي طُغۡيَٰنِهِمۡ يَعۡمَهُونَ
And if Allah was to hasten for the people the evil [they invoke] as He hastens for them the good, their term would have been ended for them. But We leave the ones who do not expect the meeting with Us, in their transgression, wandering blindly
It is the law of God that when an individual performs a praiseworthy deed, it is immediately included in the record of his deeds. But if he commits an act which warrants punishment, God gives him respite so that better counsel should prevail, and he may at some point reform himself. This law of God is a great mercy to human beings; otherwise man is a great transgressor and is always ready to perform evil deeds, and if people were immediately seized upon for their evil deeds, their lives would very soon come to an end and the face of the earth would become devoid of human existence. Those who lead their lives as if they are not required to face God after death, live with arrogance in this world. They are those who lead their lives free of the fear of God’s scourge, thinking that they are at liberty to practice as much deceit and spread as much chaos as they like. The fact is that man should realise that there is one Power over and above all powerful ones—every man is helpless before Him— He will one day seize upon all human beings and everybody will be compelled to accept His verdict.
گھوڑا ایک نہایت وفادار جانور ہے۔ وہ اپنے مالک کے لیے اپنے آپ کو آخری حد تک قربان کردیتا ہے، حتی کہ جنگ کے میدان میں بھی وہ اپنے مالک کا ساتھ نہیں چھوڑتا۔ یہ گویا ایک علامتی مثال ہے جو انسان کو بتاتی ہے کہ اسے کیسا بننا چاہيے۔ انسان کو بھی اپنے رب کا اسی طرح وفادار بننا چاہيے جیسا کہ گھوڑا انسان کا وفادار ہوتا ہے۔ مگر عملاً ایسا نہیں۔
اس دنیا میں جانور اپنے مالک کا شکر گزار ہے مگر انسان اپنے رب کا شکر گزار نہیں یہاں جانور اپنے مالک کا حق پہچانتا ہے مگر انسان اپنے رب کا حق نہیں پہچانتا۔ یہاں جانور اپنے مالک کی اطاعت میں سرگرم ہے۔ مگر انسان اپنے رب کی اطاعت میں سرگرم نہیں۔
انسان اسی جانور کی قدر کرتا ہے جو اس کا وفادار ہو۔ پھر کیسے ممکن ہے کہ وہ اس راز کو نہ جانے کہ خدا کے یہاں وہی انسان قابلِ قدر ٹھہرے گا جو خدا کی نظر میں اس کا وفادار ثابت ہو۔ مگر مال کی محبت اس کو اندھا بنا دیتی ہے۔ وہ ایک ایسی حقیقت کو جاننے سے محروم رہتا ہے جس کا وہ خود اپنے قریبی حالات میں تجربہ کرچکا تھا۔
