ثُمَّ كُلِي مِن كُلِّ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ فَٱسۡلُكِي سُبُلَ رَبِّكِ ذُلُلٗاۚ يَخۡرُجُ مِنۢ بُطُونِهَا شَرَابٞ مُّخۡتَلِفٌ أَلۡوَٰنُهُۥ فِيهِ شِفَآءٞ لِّلنَّاسِۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَةٗ لِّقَوۡمٖ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
Then eat from all the fruits and follow the ways of your Lord laid down [for you]." There emerges from their bellies a drink, varying in colors, in which there is healing for people. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who give thought
The honey-bee is the most wonderful masterpiece of God’s creation. It constructs its beehive to a standard pattern, strictly following the relevant mathematical principles. Then, in the best planned manner, sucks the nectar from the flowers, brings it back and, in a perfectly systematic manner, stores it in the hive. Then, in accordance with hygienic principles prepares honey, which serves as a valuable food as well as a remedy for human ailments. All this takes place in such an amazingly regulated manner that voluminous books have been written on it and still the description is not complete. The miraculous honey factory is more complicated than all the human factories and at the same time is more successful. It is run by bees who have not received any training in this technology. They are not even conscious of their own actions. This proves that there is a Being who is having this work done through the bees by giving them instructions. Anyone who observes the bees, will have a live example of God’s workmanship and will see a glimpse of God in their wonderfully meaningful activities. There is another aspect of the example of the bees given here. The bee works very hard to suck the nectar from flowers and to prepare honey which is a health-giving food for human beings. In the same manner, the servant of God should acquire wisdom from the universe by giving it deep consideration after intense observation of it, and such pieces of wisdom as he picks up should be spiritual food for him as well as a panacea for all his moral ailments. The things which are ‘nectar’ for the bees becomes intense realization (ma‘rifah) at the level of human beings.
یہاں ایک مادی مثال کی صورت میں معنوی حقیقت کو بتایا گیا ہے۔شہد کی مکھی خدا کی قدرت کا ایک حیرت ناک شاہکار ہے۔ وہ ریاضیاتی قوانین کی پابندی کرتے ہوئے انتہائی معیاری قسم کا چھتہ (honeycomb) بناتی ہے۔ پھر خاص منصوبہ بند انداز میں پھولوں کا رس (nectar)چوس کر لاتی ہے۔ اس کو ایک کامل ترین نظام کے تحت چھتوں میں اکٹھا کرتی ہے۔ پھر عین قوانین صحت کے مطابق شہد جیسی قیمتی چیز تیار کرتی ہے، جو انسان کے لیے غذا بھی ہے اور علاج بھی۔یہ سب کچھ اتنے عجیب اور اتنے منظم انداز میں ہوتا ہے کہ اس پر موٹی موٹی کتابیں لکھی گئی ہیں، پھر بھی اس کا بیان مکمل نہیں ہوا۔شہد کی یہ خدائی فیکٹری تمام انسانی کارخانوں سے زیادہ پیچیدہ اور زیادہ کامیاب ہے۔ تاہم بظاہر وہ ایسی مکھیوں کے ذریعہ چلایا جارہا ہے جنھوں نے کہیں اس فن کی تعلیم نہیں پائی۔ حتیٰ کہ ان کو اپنے اعمال کا ذاتی شعور بھی حاصل نہیں۔ اس سے ثابت ہوتا ہے کہ کوئی کروانے والا ہے جو اپنی مخفی ہدایات کے ذریعہ مکھیوں سے یہ سب کچھ کروا رہا ہے۔ شہد کی مکھیوں کو اگر کوئی دیکھنے والا دیکھے تو وہ ان کی حیران کن حد تک بامعنی سرگرمیوں میں خدا کی کارفرمائی کا زندہ مشاہدہ کرنے لگے گا۔شہد کی مکھی کی مثال دینے کا ایک پہلو یہ بھی ہے کہ اس پراسس میں شہد کی مکھی دوسری تمام چیزوں کو نظر انداز کرکے پھولوں کے پاس پہنچ کر صرف اس کا نکٹر لیتی ہے، کسی اور چیز میں ڈسٹریکٹ نہیں ہوتی۔ یہی تدبر ہے۔ یہ دنیا ایک جنگل کی مانند ہے، مگر اس میں ہر جگہ حکمت و معرفت کے نِکٹر چھپے ہوئے ہیں۔ اسی کے ساتھ انسان کو عقل و تدبر کی صلاحیت ملی ہوئی ہے، جو آدمی کو اس قابل بناتی ہے کہ وہ دنیا کے جنگل میں ڈسٹریکٹ (distract) نہ ہو۔انسان کو چاہیے کہ وہ کائنات میں غور وفکر کے ذریعہ حکمت و معرفت کا نکٹر حاصل کرے ۔ جو طریقہ شہد کی مکھی کے لیے ’’رس‘‘ حاصل کرنے کا ذریعہ ہے، وہی انسان کی سطح پر پہنچ کر ’’معرفت‘‘ کا ذریعہ بن جاتا ہے، جس میں انسان کی روح کی غذا بھی ہے اور اس کی اخلاقی بیماریوں کا علاج بھی ۔
