لَّوۡ أَرَادَ ٱللَّهُ أَن يَتَّخِذَ وَلَدٗا لَّٱصۡطَفَىٰ مِمَّا يَخۡلُقُ مَا يَشَآءُۚ سُبۡحَٰنَهُۥۖ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡوَٰحِدُ ٱلۡقَهَّارُ
If Allah had intended to take a son, He could have chosen from what He creates whatever He willed. Exalted is He; He is Allah, the One, the Prevailing
It is a natural instinct in man to rush towards God and worship Him. But it is always the endeavour of Satan to distract man from worshipping God. He implants the idea in people’s minds that God’s Court (throne) is very high and inaccessible and, therefore, one cannot reach God directly. So one should try to reach God through the mediation of saints. Similarly, he instils the belief that just as human beings have children, so does God, and an easy way to please God is to please His supposed children. Modern materialism is also a distorted form of this belief, in that it has diverted man’s worshipping instinct from the Creator to the creation. All this deviation amounts to a belittling of God. He Who is the Creator and Sustainer of the unfathomably vast universe is far above such ridiculous allegations.
آدمی کے اندر فطری طورپر یہ جذبہ ہے کہ وہ خدا کی طرف لپکے، وہ خدا کی پرستش کرے۔شیطان کی کوشش ہمیشہ یہ ہوتی ہے کہ وہ اس جذبہ کو خدا کی طرف سے ہٹا کر دوسری طرف موڑ دے۔ اس کےلیے وہ لوگوں کے ذہن میں ڈالتاہے کہ خدا کی بارگاہ اونچی ہے، تم براہ راست خدا تک نہیں پہنچ سکتے۔ اس ليے تم کو بزرگوں کے وسیلہ سے خدا تک پہنچنے کی کوشش کرنا چاہيے۔ اسی طرح وہ لوگوں کے ذہن میں یہ عقیدہ بٹھاتا ہے کہ جس طرح انسانوں کی اولاد ہوتی ہے اسی طرح خدا کی بھی اولاد ہے۔ اور خدا کو خوش رکھنے کا آسان طریقہ یہ ہے کہ تم خدا کی اولاد کو خوش رکھو۔ جدید مادہ پرستی بھی اسی کی ایک بگڑی ہوئی صورت ہے جس نے آدمی کے جذبہ پرستش کو خالق سے ہٹا کر مخلوق کی طرف کردیا ہے۔
اس قسم کی تمام باتیں خدا کی تصغیر ہیں۔ جو خدا شمسی نظام کو چلا رہا ہے اور جس نے عظیم کائنات کو سنبھال رکھا ہے وہ یقینا اس سے بلند ہے کہ اس کے یہاں کسی کی سفارش چلے یا اس کے بیٹے بیٹیاں ہوں۔
