1إِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ ٱنفَطَرَتۡWhen the sky breaks apart2وَإِذَا ٱلۡكَوَاكِبُ ٱنتَثَرَتۡAnd when the stars fall, scattering3وَإِذَا ٱلۡبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتۡAnd when the seas are erupted1 lecture →4وَإِذَا ٱلۡقُبُورُ بُعۡثِرَتۡAnd when the [contents of] graves are scattered5عَلِمَتۡ نَفۡسٞ مَّا قَدَّمَتۡ وَأَخَّرَتۡA soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept back6يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ ٱلۡكَرِيمِO mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous7 lectures →7ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَكَ فَسَوَّىٰكَ فَعَدَلَكَWho created you, proportioned you, and balanced you1 lecture →8فِيٓ أَيِّ صُورَةٖ مَّا شَآءَ رَكَّبَكَIn whatever form He willed has He assembled you9كَلَّا بَلۡ تُكَذِّبُونَ بِٱلدِّينِNo! But you deny the Recompense10وَإِنَّ عَلَيۡكُمۡ لَحَٰفِظِينَAnd indeed, [appointed] over you are keepers11كِرَامٗا كَٰتِبِينَNoble and recording12يَعۡلَمُونَ مَا تَفۡعَلُونَThey know whatever you do13إِنَّ ٱلۡأَبۡرَارَ لَفِي نَعِيمٖIndeed, the righteous will be in pleasure14وَإِنَّ ٱلۡفُجَّارَ لَفِي جَحِيمٖAnd indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire15يَصۡلَوۡنَهَا يَوۡمَ ٱلدِّينِThey will [enter to] burn therein on the Day of Recompense16وَمَا هُمۡ عَنۡهَا بِغَآئِبِينَAnd never therefrom will they be absent17وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا يَوۡمُ ٱلدِّينِAnd what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense18ثُمَّ مَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا يَوۡمُ ٱلدِّينِThen, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense19يَوۡمَ لَا تَمۡلِكُ نَفۡسٞ لِّنَفۡسٖ شَيۡـٔٗاۖ وَٱلۡأَمۡرُ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلَّهِIt is the Day when a soul will not possess for another soul [power to do] a thing; and the command, that Day, is [entirely] with Allah6 lectures →
