1إِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ ٱنشَقَّتۡWhen the sky has split [open]2وَأَذِنَتۡ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتۡAnd has responded to its Lord and was obligated [to do so]3وَإِذَا ٱلۡأَرۡضُ مُدَّتۡAnd when the earth has been extended4وَأَلۡقَتۡ مَا فِيهَا وَتَخَلَّتۡAnd has cast out that within it and relinquished [it]5وَأَذِنَتۡ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتۡAnd has responded to its Lord and was obligated [to do so]6يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ إِنَّكَ كَادِحٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ كَدۡحٗا فَمُلَٰقِيهِO mankind, indeed you are laboring toward your Lord with [great] exertion and will meet it4 lectures →7فَأَمَّا مَنۡ أُوتِيَ كِتَٰبَهُۥ بِيَمِينِهِۦThen as for he who is given his record in his right hand1 lecture →8فَسَوۡفَ يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابٗا يَسِيرٗاHe will be judged with an easy account9وَيَنقَلِبُ إِلَىٰٓ أَهۡلِهِۦ مَسۡرُورٗاAnd return to his people in happiness10وَأَمَّا مَنۡ أُوتِيَ كِتَٰبَهُۥ وَرَآءَ ظَهۡرِهِۦBut as for he who is given his record behind his back1 lecture →11فَسَوۡفَ يَدۡعُواْ ثُبُورٗاHe will cry out for destruction1 lecture →12وَيَصۡلَىٰ سَعِيرًاAnd [enter to] burn in a Blaze13إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ فِيٓ أَهۡلِهِۦ مَسۡرُورًاIndeed, he had [once] been among his people in happiness3 lectures →14إِنَّهُۥ ظَنَّ أَن لَّن يَحُورَIndeed, he had thought he would never return [to Allah]15بَلَىٰٓۚ إِنَّ رَبَّهُۥ كَانَ بِهِۦ بَصِيرٗاBut yes! Indeed, his Lord was ever of him, Seeing16فَلَآ أُقۡسِمُ بِٱلشَّفَقِSo I swear by the twilight glow17وَٱلَّيۡلِ وَمَا وَسَقَAnd [by] the night and what it envelops18وَٱلۡقَمَرِ إِذَا ٱتَّسَقَAnd [by] the moon when it becomes full19لَتَرۡكَبُنَّ طَبَقًا عَن طَبَقٖ[That] you will surely experience state after state20فَمَا لَهُمۡ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَSo what is [the matter] with them [that] they do not believe21وَإِذَا قُرِئَ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانُ لَا يَسۡجُدُونَۤ۩And when the Qur'an is recited to them, they do not prostrate [to Allah]22بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ يُكَذِّبُونَBut those who have disbelieved deny23وَٱللَّهُ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَا يُوعُونَAnd Allah is most knowing of what they keep within themselves24فَبَشِّرۡهُم بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍSo give them tidings of a painful punishment25إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ لَهُمۡ أَجۡرٌ غَيۡرُ مَمۡنُونِۭExcept for those who believe and do righteous deeds. For them is a reward uninterrupted
