1وَٱلضُّحَىٰBy the morning brightness2 lectures →2وَٱلَّيۡلِ إِذَا سَجَىٰAnd [by] the night when it covers with darkness3مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَىٰYour Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you]4وَلَلۡأٓخِرَةُ خَيۡرٞ لَّكَ مِنَ ٱلۡأُولَىٰAnd the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]5وَلَسَوۡفَ يُعۡطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرۡضَىٰٓAnd your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied1 lecture →6أَلَمۡ يَجِدۡكَ يَتِيمٗا فَـَٔاوَىٰDid He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge1 lecture →7وَوَجَدَكَ ضَآلّٗا فَهَدَىٰAnd He found you lost and guided [you]9 lectures →8وَوَجَدَكَ عَآئِلٗا فَأَغۡنَىٰAnd He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient9فَأَمَّا ٱلۡيَتِيمَ فَلَا تَقۡهَرۡSo as for the orphan, do not oppress [him]10وَأَمَّا ٱلسَّآئِلَ فَلَا تَنۡهَرۡAnd as for the petitioner, do not repel [him]2 lectures →11وَأَمَّا بِنِعۡمَةِ رَبِّكَ فَحَدِّثۡBut as for the favor of your Lord, report [it]1 lecture →
