  5. 1:46 So today I will be speaking on the subject five pillars of Islam, namely Shahada which is faith, Salat which is prayer, Zakat, almsgiving, Sawm which is fasting and Hajj which is pilgrimage. But I'll be covering two pillars which is Shahada and Salat. I'll be covering the remaining three pillars in the next session. So today I will be speaking on the subject five pillars of Islam, namely शाहदा which is faith, सलाद which is prayer, ज़क़ात, almsgiving, song which is fasting and हज़र which is pilgrimage. But I'll be covering two pillars which is शाहदा and सलाद. I'll be covering the remaining three pillars in the next session.
  6. 2:14 Now I'm aware that all of you are very familiar with the five pillars. So let's revisit them with the spiritual, intellectual and the practical aspect of it. And it's also important because it's not just ritual, the practice of it fosters spiritual depth, unity and discipline among the believers. Now I'm aware that all of you are very familiar with the five pillars. So let's revisit them with the spiritual, intellectual and the practical aspect of it. And it's also important because it's not just ritual, the practice of it fosters spiritual depth, unity and discipline among the believers.
  7. 2:38 And let me start by a very interesting Hadith which has been recorded in several Hadith books. This is, this hadith includes the five pillars and also gives a good framework of Islam as a religion. And let me start by a very interesting हदीस which has been recorded in several हदीस books. This is, this hadith includes the five pillars and also gives a good framework of Islam as a religion.
  8. 2:54 This hadith is narrated by Hazrat Umar ibn al Khattab and he said that once the companions were sitting in the company of Prophet Muhammad salallahu alayhi wa sallam and a stranger came from nowhere. He was wearing extreme white clothing and his hair were very black. There was no trace of travel on him. He knelt down and his knees were touching the knees of the Prophet. This hadith is narrated by हज़रत उमर बिन अल खताब and he said that once the companions were sitting in the company of prophet मोहम्मद सलाहीबासालाम and a stranger came from nowhere. He was wearing extreme white clothing and his hair were very black. There was no trace of travel on him. He knelt down and his knees were touching the knees of the prophet.
  9. 3:23 He placed his hands on his thighs and he asked him, Muhammad, tell me what is Islam? So Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam said that Islam is to bear witness that there is one god and Muhammad is his messenger. You have to perform, the prayers, you have to give zakat, you have to do fasting in Ramadan and, do pilgrimage, in the house of, Kaaba. He placed his hands on his thighs and he asked him, मोहम्मद, tell me what is Islam? So prophet सलाहीब सलाह said that Islam is to bear witness that there is one god and मोहम्मद is his messenger. You have to perform, the prayers, you have to give zakat, you have to do fasting in रमादान and, do pilgrimage, in the house of, Kaaba.
  10. 3:52 So the stranger said you spoken correctly. So the companions are very surprised. Hazrat Umar said that firstly he was asking question to Prophet and then he is also announcing, he is also declaring that you are right. So the stranger then asked him the second question, what is faith? So the stranger said you spoken correctly. So the companions are very surprised. हज़ार उमर said that firstly he was asking question to profit and then he is also announcing, he is also declaring that you are right. So the stranger then asked him the second question, what is faith?
  11. 4:11 So Prophet said faith is to believe in God, believe in his book, believe in his messengers, his angels in the last day and the fate with both good and evil aspects of it. Again, the stranger said, you've spoken correctly. So then he asked him that, tell me about the virtues, the excellence. So Prophet said excellence or virtues is something very beautiful. So prophet said faith is to believe in God, believe in his book, believe in his messengers, his angels in the last day and the fate with both good and evil aspects of it. Again, the stranger said, you've spoken correctly. So then he asked him that, tell me about the virtues, the excellence. So prophet said excellence or virtues is something very beautiful.
  12. 4:37 That is you worship God as if you can see him and and you know that he can see you. Then the stranger asked that what about the last day, inferring about the day of judgment. So Prophet said, as regard to this question, the person who's being questioned knows no more than the questioner. Well, then what are its signs the stranger asked the Prophet? That is you worship God as if you can see him and and you know that he can see you. Then the stranger asked that what about the last day, inferring about the day of judgment. So prophet said, as regard to this question, the person who's being questioned knows no more than the questioner. Well, then what are its signs the stranger asked the prophet?
  13. 5:02 So he said the signs are that the lady would give birth to her master and the shepherds of camel will boast and compete with one another in construction of tall buildings. After hearing that, the stranger leaves the gathering. So, Prophet turns towards Hazrat Umar and he says, O Umar, do you know who this person was? So he said the signs are that the lady would give birth to her master and the shepherds of camel will boast and compete with one another in construction of tall buildings. After hearing that, the stranger leaves the gathering. So, पापेट turns towards हज़रत उमर and he says कि उमर, do you know who this person was?
  14. 5:27 So, whenever Prophet used to ask like this to the companions, they would always reply by saying that, Allah and his messenger knows best. So Prophet said he was Jibril and he came here to teach you your religion. So this is a very interesting Hadith in the sense that it gives you the entire gist that what Islam is all about. It is like, you know, you understand it this way. So, whenever पापेट used to ask like this to the companions, they would always reply by saying that, and his messenger knows best. So prophet said he was जिबरील and he came here to teach you your religion. So this is a very interesting हदीज़ in the sense that it gives you the entire gist that what इस्लाम is all about. It is like, you know, you understand it this way.
  15. 5:54 This is a building we are sitting in inside. Any building is strong because of its pillars. If the pillars are weak, the entire edifice will come down. So similarly, our life is like a piece of land and we have to build a house to the liking of God almighty. And that can happen only if we adhere to the pillars of Islam. This is a building we are sitting in inside. Any building is strong because of its pillars. If the pillars are weak, the entire edifice will come down. So similarly, our life is like a piece of land and we have to build a house to the liking of God almighty. And that can happen only if we adhere to the pillars of Islam.
  16. 6:22 And it's very important that, you know, rituals of course are important but the spirit of it is very, is most important. And this plays out even in anything that we do. For example, all of you must be owning a mobile phone, right? So when somebody says that I have a mobile phone, it does not mean that I I own a piece which is a shell of a mobile phone. And it's very important that, you know, rituals of course are important but the spirit of it is very, is most important. And this plays out even in anything that we do. For example, all of you must be owning a mobile phone, right? So when somebody says that I have a mobile phone, it does not mean that I I own a piece which is a shell of a mobile phone.
  17. 6:49 We we say, when we say we own a mobile phone, we mean we have an instrument that helps in connecting with people, with the with the with the other people in the world. The same with the the five pillars. So so let me, you know, with this start with the first pillar which is Shahada, that is faith and faith is to believe in God and his messenger. We we say, when we say we own a mobile phone, we mean we have an instrument that helps in connecting with people, with the with the with the other people in the world. The same with the the five pillars. So so let me, you know, with this start with the first pillar which is शहादा, that is faith and faith is to believe in God and his messenger.
  18. 7:18 When we recite the Kalima, that's the first step of being a believer. So, Tawhid is, is the root of all goodness and the absence of Tawhid, is the root of, all corruption. The the entire forces, in the universe, everything is being governed, by this, almighty god. The entire dominion of the cosmos. When we recite the कलेमा, that's the first step of being a believer. So, तोहीद is, is the root of all goodness and the absence of तोहीद, is the root of, all corruption. The the entire forces, in the universe, everything is being governed, by this, almighty god. The entire dominion of the cosmos.
  19. 7:48 And the world that we are living in, what it is because of the reality of the Tawhid. From the tiniest of the particle to the vast of the galactic system, it is governed by the reality of Tawhid. It's beautifully captured by Ayat al Kursi, and I really love Ayat al Kursi. Say that there is no god but one god, the living, the eternal, neither slumber nor sleep overtakes him. And the world that we are living in, what it is because of the reality of the तोहित. From the tiniest of the particle to the vast of the galactic system, it is governed by the reality of तोहित. It's beautifully captured by आईतल कुर्सी, and I really love आईतल कुर्सी. Say that there is no god but one god, the living, the eternal, neither slumber nor sleep overtakes him.
  20. 8:14 To him belongs whatsoever is in the heavens, whatsoever is on the earth. Who can intercede with him except by his permission? He knows what is before them, he knows what is behind them. They cannot grasp anything except that he wills. His throne extends beyond the heaven and the earth and and upholding it does not tire him. He is the sublime, the almighty one. To him belongs whatsoever is in the heavens, whatsoever is on the earth. Who can intercede with him except by his permission? He knows what is before them, he knows what is behind them. They cannot grasp anything except that he wills. His throne extends beyond the heaven and the earth and and upholding it does not tire him. He is the sublime, the almighty one.
  21. 8:43 Really, you know, it's a it's beautiful and as much as you can recite Ayatul Kursi, prophet, hazrat Really, you know, it's a it's beautiful and as much as you can recite
  22. 8:48 ayesha says ki prophet jab raat ko sote waqt aayatul kursi zaroor padhte the.
  23. 8:53 I think all of you should do that before you sleep. I think all of you should do that before you sleep.
  24. 8:59 It's it's really beautiful. It's it's really beautiful.
  25. 9:04 So, the essence of toheed if you look at it, it is basically to trust god, to love So, the essence of तोहीद if you look at it, it is basically to trust god, to love
  26. 9:09 god and to have fear and hope about god. god and to have fear and hope about god.
  27. 9:15 You know, all of us have been made in such a way that we have and you would agree, have feelings, thoughts, emotions and it so happens that it is very natural that these feelings, thoughts and emotion finds its way onto something. Everybody does focus onto something. For example, I know quite a few people. For them, pets is everything. You know, all of us have been made in such a way that we have and you would agree, have feelings, thoughts, emotions and it so happens that it is very natural that these feelings, thoughts and emotion finds its way onto something. Everybody does focus onto something. For example, I know quite a few people. For them, pets is everything.
  28. 9:42 You know, they will go they will go to any extent to help the street dogs. They will fight in their neighborhood. They'll do whatever. For them, dogs, pets is everything. I I come from the wealth management side, so I have met with numerous people, innumerable number of people and they say that rajat, for me, the same statement that I have encountered time and again. For me, making money is the sole purpose of my life. You know, they will go they will go to any extent to help the street dogs. They will fight in their neighborhood. They'll do whatever. For them, dogs, pets is everything. I I come from the wealth management side, so I have met with numerous people, innumerable number of people and they say that रजत, for me, the same statement that I have encountered time and again. For me, making money is the sole purpose of my life.
  29. 10:11 True rightful means, I mean not the ill gotten means but their focus is making money and then I tell them that what about work life balance? What about family? He says, look, all that is important but agar paisa aaya na to sab kuch hai. So, focus is money. What I am trying to say is that essence of tohheer means that if your focus is anything but god, then tohheer has not entered your personality. True rightful means, I mean not the ill gotten means but their focus is making money and then I tell them that what about work life balance? What about family? He says, look, all that is important but So, focus is money. What I am trying to say is that essence of तोहिर means that if your focus is anything but god, then तोहिर has not entered your personality.
  30. 10:38 Tohheer means to make god as your center focus. Look at these three verses of the Quran. This is chapter two. Yet there are some who set up equals with god and adore them with the adoration due to god. But those who believe love God most. तोहिर means to make god as your center focus. Look at these three verses of the Quran. This is chapter two. Yet there are some who set up equals with god and adore them with the adoration due to god. But those who believe love God most.
  31. 10:59 If only the wrongdoers could see as they will see when they face the punishment that all power belongs to God and that God is severe in punishment. Look at the second verse, god there is no god but he so let the faithful put their trust in him. They used to hasten to do good and they called on us in hope and fear and they were always humble towards us. If only the wrongdoers could see as they will see when they face the punishment that all power belongs to God and that God is severe in punishment. Look at the second verse, god there is no god but he so let the faithful put their trust in him. They used to hasten to do good and they called on us in hope and fear and they were always humble towards us.
  32. 11:29 So the essence of toheer like I mentioned is to, you know, place your trust in God, to love him the most and to always have in every moment of your life, live in fear and hope. And that is what, you know, tohid is all about. Iman as it, you know, as we we study islam, we come to know that islam is something that grows. So the essence of तोहीर like I mentioned is to, you know, place your trust in God, to love him the most and to always have in every moment of your life, live in fear and hope. And that is what, you know, तोहिद is all about. ईमान as it, you know, as we we study islam, we come to know that islam is something that grows.
  33. 11:55 So, quran has likened faith to a plant which is growing. Look at this beautiful verse. Do you not see how god compares a good word to a good tree? Its root is firm and its branches are in the sky. It yields its fruit each season with its lord's permission. So, quran has likened faith to a plant which is growing. Look at this beautiful verse. Do you not see how god compares a good word to a good tree? Its root is firm and its branches are in the sky. It yields its fruit each season with its lord's permission.
  34. 12:19 So, what it really means is, I mean, you look at the universe, you look at, you look at the attributes, you think over the attributes of god, your iman, grows. And faith and intellectual development is one and the same thing with different terminology. So what I'm actually saying is that if you develop your intellect, in your thinking process, then automatically, you know, your iman grows. So, what it really means is, I mean, you look at the universe, you look at, you look at the attributes, you think over the attributes of god, your ईमान, grows. And faith and intellectual development is one and the same thing with different terminology. So what I'm actually saying is that if you develop your intellect, in your thinking process, then automatically, you know, your ईमान grows.
  35. 12:45 And when a person is born, when we were all born, our physical development started. At the same time, the intellectual development also started. But the difference between the two is that physical development has a limit. All of us in this room have grown to the optimal physical development limit. But intellectual development has a start, but it does not, you know, have an end. And when a person is born, when we were all born, our physical development started. At the same time, the intellectual development also started. But the difference between the two is that physical development has a limit. All of us in this room have grown to the optimal physical development limit. But intellectual development has a start, but it does not, you know, have an end.
  36. 13:09 So it helps in developing your faith and faith is something, you know, that transforms a very basic belief into a profound understanding that permeates, you know, your your being and that helps in developing the stronger connect with the God almighty. So, people who have, faith, strong faith, they remember, God all the time and this is what, the commandment of the Quran says. So it helps in developing your faith and faith is something, you know, that transforms a very basic belief into a profound understanding that permeates, you know, your your being and that helps in developing the stronger connect with the God almighty. So, people who have, faith, strong faith, they remember, God all the time and this is what, the commandment of the Quran says.
  37. 13:39 It says in chapter 33, believers remember God often. Now here, remembrance is not in terms of the recitation but in terms of the thinking like the intellectual development I just talked about. It says in chapter 33, believers remember God often. Now here, remembrance is not in terms of the recitation but in terms of the thinking like the intellectual development I just talked about.
  38. 13:54 It is basically, you know, having a chain reaction of thoughts in your mind whereas one thought leads to another thought and this is how, you know, you develop your mind, you become a prepared mind. For example, it's raining outside, right? Now we all are, we will all look at it, vishay ki barish ho rahi hai. It is basically, you know, having a chain reaction of thoughts in your mind whereas one thought leads to another thought and this is how, you know, you develop your mind, you become a prepared mind. For example, it's raining outside, right? Now we all are, we will all look at it,
  39. 14:18 So for an ordinary person, this is a natural phenomena which which phenomena which happens every now and then it's happening right now. But a person jo zikr e kaseer karna jante hain, jisko prepared mind jo ban chuka hai, jo thoughts ko ek thought se doosre thought par le ja sakte hain, woh usko aise sochega ki god is sending this blessed rain to me. It comes to us in the form of fresh water. So for an ordinary person, this is a natural phenomena which which phenomena which happens every now and then it's happening right now. But a person जो ज़िक्रे कसीर करना जानते हैं, जिसको prepared mind जो वन चुका है, जो thoughts को एक thought से दूसरे thought पर ले जा सकते हैं, वह उसको ऐसे सोचेगा कि god is sending this blessed rain to me. It comes to us in the form of fresh water.
  40. 14:47 But where was this water? Earlier, this water was in its salty element in ocean. But then what did God do? God knew that we would not survive without water. So he set up a very elaborate process. Natural laws he set up by way of which we've studied basic in science that the water vapors rises and then through the precipitation theory, the rain comes down. But where was this water? Earlier, this water was in its salty element in ocean. But then what did God do? God knew that we would not survive without water. So he set up a very elaborate process. Natural laws he set up by way of which we've studied basic in science that the water vapors rises and then through the precipitation theory, the rain comes down.
  41. 15:15 So a person will be filled with gratitude that God has, you know, for my sustenance, has created this entire elaborate system through which rain is reaching to us and giving us fresh water. And I would also say that when you develop this kind of thinking, this preparedness in your mind, it helps you in every field. So a person will be filled with gratitude that God has, you know, for my sustenance, has created this entire elaborate system through which rain is reaching to us and giving us fresh water. And I would also say that when you develop this kind of thinking, this preparedness in your mind, it helps you in every field.
  42. 15:42 Because what really happens is when you develop this thinking capacity, your power of analysis goes up. Your ability to understand things, that becomes much easier. You are able to sort things out much better. So therefore, remember God in this way that every experience that you see, every observation that you notice, try to link it with god almighty. Because what really happens is when you develop this thinking capacity, your power of analysis goes up. Your ability to understand things, that becomes much easier. You are able to sort things out much better. So therefore, remember God in this way that every experience that you see, every observation that you notice, try to link it with god almighty.
  43. 16:09 Once you are able to do that, you will be able to grow, your, faith and it this is of the one of the also reason that you know faith has two parts, you know the part which is God realization and the part which is obeying the commands. So there are two things, god realization and obeying of the commands. Both are important like like a soul and body. Once you are able to do that, you will be able to grow, your, faith and it this is of the one of the also reason that you know faith has two parts, you know the part which is God realization and the part which is obeying the commands. So there are two things, god realization and obeying of the commands. Both are important like like a soul and body.
  44. 16:38 But we know that without soul you are a dead body. So the realization is the key aspect and prophet salallahu alaihi wasallam said that each verse of the Quran has a outer meaning and has a inner meaning. This is a, this is a hadith in sahih bukhari which means that when you read Quran, one one aspect is the lines of the Quran. You translate and you understand. But we know that without soul you are a dead body. So the realization is the key aspect and prophet सलाही वास्लाम said that each verse of the कुरान has a outer meaning and has a inner meaning. This is a, this is a hadith in सही बुखारी which means that when you read कुरान, one one aspect is the lines of the कुरान. You translate and you understand.
  45. 17:06 The other is in between the lines, which is the wisdom that you draw out. For example, if you look at the legal aspect of shahada when we say, ashhadu alla ilaha illallah wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan abduhu wa rasuluh. The other is in between the lines, which is the wisdom that you draw out. For example, if you look at the legal aspect of शाहदा when we say, ऐशादू अल्लाह इल्लाह वशादू अन्ना मोहम्मद अरब्दू हुबरासूलू.
  46. 17:22 Now we've recited this but imagine like what we discussed in the earlier session that in our dealings with the external world, it does not confirm with the with the teachings of the prophet, with the commandments of the Quran. Then what have we done? We've only learned some verses. We've learned the shahada and we've recited it. Now we've recited this but imagine like what we discussed in the earlier session that in our dealings with the external world, it does not confirm with the with the teachings of the prophet, with the commandments of the Quran. Then what have we done? We've only learned some verses. We've learned the शाहादा and we've recited it.
  47. 17:46 It's the same thing that when hazrat aisha was told by the companions that they came across a group which is reading Quran a lot. So she said ki unhone Quran padha par unhone Quran nahi padha. They read the Quran but they truly did not read it. So it's very important that we internalize the spirit of of the religion. It's the same thing that when हज़रत आईशा was told by the companions that they came across a group which is reading कुरान a lot. They read the कुरान but they truly did not read it. So it's very important that we internalize the spirit of of the religion.
  48. 18:13 And of course, is one thing that everybody says, ok, I want to have god realization. I want to discover God. But how do I do it? What is the starting point? And if you look at your own, in a way, you know, interactions, exchanges, or day to day dealing, you will agree that for anything that you want, you have to pay a price. And of course, is one thing that everybody says, ok, I want to have god realization. I want to discover God. But how do I do it? What is the starting point? And if you look at your own, in a way, you know, interactions, exchanges, or day to day dealing, you will agree that for anything that you want, you have to pay a price.
  49. 18:40 So similarly, you know, there is the price for god realization, marifat, and that price is that you have to make god as your primary concern. That is the number one option that you have to pick. For example, let's take all of your example. You all have come here to attend this session. Now, you all had a choice. So similarly, you know, there is the price for god realization, मारफत, and that price is that you have to make god as your primary concern. That is the number one option that you have to pick. For example, let's take all of your example. You all have come here to attend this session. Now, you all had a choice.
  50. 19:05 The choice that this next one or two hours you could have spent time with your friends. You could have sat at home, watched a movie, read a fiction, a book or just spend time in leisure which many of your friends are probably doing light at bright at this moment but you chose to come here for the love of god. The choice that this next one or two hours you could have spent time with your friends. You could have sat at home, watched a movie, read a fiction, a book or just spend time in leisure which many of your friends are probably doing light at bright at this moment but you chose to come here for the love of god.
  51. 19:27 Now, whatever takeaway that you may have after this session, inshallah, you will have, That takeaway is the price, is is is the result of the price that you paid by being here in this session. So, therefore, you know, every person is always torn between two demands, demand of the world and demand of the faith. Now, whatever takeaway that you may have after this session, inshallah, you will have, That takeaway is the price, is is is the result of the price that you paid by being here in this session. So, therefore, you know, every person is always torn between two demands, demand of the world and demand of the faith.
  52. 19:54 If you bore down before the demands of the world, which means that you make everything, We have to do a balance, but making that only as a sole purpose, then that is a point where the Satan comes and he tries to push you back. Look at this verse. When any evil suggestion from Satan touches those who fear God, they're instantly alerted and become watchful. If you bore down before the demands of the world, which means that you make everything, We have to do a balance, but making that only as a sole purpose, then that is a point where the Satan comes and he tries to push you back. Look at this verse. When any evil suggestion from Satan touches those who fear God, they're instantly alerted and become watchful.
  53. 20:22 But the followers of devils are led relentlessly into errors by them. They, never, desist. So it's very important that we keep on checking ourselves because, faith is a continuous journey. The moment you stop, satan will retard you by several years. You cannot afford to stop this journey. It has to be continuous all the time. But the followers of devils are led relentlessly into errors by them. They, never, desist. So it's very important that we keep on checking ourselves because, faith is a continuous journey. The moment you stop, satan will retard you by several years. You cannot afford to stop this journey. It has to be continuous all the time.
  54. 20:49 A person came to prophet mohammad salallahu alaihi wasallam and said, prophet, tell me which is a superior action? He said, god realization. He asked him again, ya rasulallah, is the superior action? He said, god realization. So he said, prophet, I'm asking you about action. You're telling me about knowledge. A person came to prophet मोहम्मद सलाहीबा सलाह and said, prophet, tell me which is a superior action? He said, god realization. He asked him again, ग़सुल्लाह, is the superior action? He said, god realization. So he said, prophet, I'm asking you about action. You're telling me about knowledge.
  55. 21:10 So prophet said that a small action with knowledge is more beneficial than a bigger action with ignorance that does not benefit anyone at all. So the truth is that one's level of God's realization is one's Islam. So prophet said that a small action with knowledge is more beneficial than a bigger action with ignorance that does not benefit anyone at all. So the truth is that one's level of God's realization is one's Islam.
  56. 21:31 If you have a conscious discovery, the external action will be dependent on what level of conscious discovery you've had. That is very important. So yeh hamesha yaad rakho ki God realization, marefat is everything. It is the spirit of Islam. It is the life of Islam. It makes Islam living. If you have a conscious discovery, the external action will be dependent on what level of conscious discovery you've had. That is very important. So यह हमेशा याद रखो कि God realization, मारेफत is everything. It is the spirit of Islam. It is the life of Islam. It makes Islam living.
  57. 21:54 If you do an action with God realization, it is like green tree and an action without God realization is like dead wood. So that is something which is very important. This is one aspect that I've also touched in the previous session which is the the acknowledgement of god. This is very important aspect. If you do an action with God realization, it is like green tree and an action without God realization is like dead wood. So that is something which is very important. This is one aspect that I've also touched in the previous session which is the the acknowledgement of god. This is very important aspect.
  58. 22:20 When prophet Suleman received the blessing, he said, haza min fadli rabbi. This is by the grace of God. Now the interesting thing is that when you look at the contextual aspect of this verse, that will take, you know, the session a little longer. I'm not going into that, but it's a material possession that prophet Suleman got and for that he thanked god, he acknowledged god. When prophet सुलेमान received the blessing, he said, haza meant फजली रब्बी. This is by the grace of God. Now the interesting thing is that when you look at the contextual aspect of this verse, that will take, you know, the session a little longer. I'm not going into that, but it's a material possession that prophet सोलेमान got and for that he thanked god, he acknowledged god.
  59. 22:47 It's a lesson for all of us that life mein hame kuch bhi mile, material, spiritual. We always have to be very thankful and we have to acknowledge that to god because acknowledgement shapes your personality. It builds your character. It is the most important thing and it also shows you a position, your position. It's a lesson for all of us that life We always have to be very thankful and we have to acknowledge that to god because acknowledgement shapes your personality. It builds your character. It is the most important thing and it also shows you a position, your position.
  60. 23:13 Our position is that of a servant and god is our benefactor. God is giving us everything which most of the time people have been taking for granted kyunki woh hum bachpan se dekhte aa rahe hain. Hume khana mil raha hai, pani mil raha hai, oxygen mil raha hai. We never realize that this is like the biggest blessing for us without which we cannot survive. Go back in the time of COVID-nineteen, the second wave. Our position is that of a servant and god is our benefactor. God is giving us everything which most of the time people have been taking for granted We never realize that this is like the biggest blessing for us without which we cannot survive. Go back in the time of COVID-nineteen, the second wave.
  61. 23:40 That was the wave when me and my family, we were completely down and that was the time when lot of deaths happened. You know why? It was not because they were not medicines, because oxygen cylinders nahi the agar aap sabko yaad ho, right? Agar oxygen cylinders hote hain toh bahut log bach jaate hain. They were the medical problem as a doctor said was not so, you know, I mean difficult. It was just that they could not give them oxygen cylinders. That was the wave when me and my family, we were completely down and that was the time when lot of deaths happened. You know why? It was not because they were not medicines, because oxygen cylinders नहीं थे अगर आप सबको याद हो, right? They were the medical problem as a doctor said was not so, you know, I mean difficult. It was just that they could not give them oxygen cylinders.
  62. 24:08 So every time we take we we, you know, take a fresh off air inside, it's such a big blessing that we are able to do that. We are able to see, we are able to drink, we we are able to eat. All of this is the blessing of god and we have to acknowledge that all the time. Only then the god realization ya aapka jo faith hai, woh build hota hai. So every time we take we we, you know, take a fresh off air inside, it's such a big blessing that we are able to do that. We are able to see, we are able to drink, we we are able to eat. All of this is the blessing of god and we have to acknowledge that all the time. Only then the god realization
  63. 24:31 That's, that becomes strong and therefore Quranic spirituality basically is, it's I would say another name for intellectual development. If you look at this verse of the Quran, it says be devoted servants of god. That's, that becomes strong and therefore कुरानिक spirituality basically is, it's I would say another name for intellectual development. If you look at this verse of the कुरान, it says be devoted servants of god.
  64. 24:52 What it it is saying is be be men of god, be women of god which means that have god oriented speech, god oriented life, god oriented morals, you're dealing everything should revolve around the god oriented aspect. It is like, you know, we have we are looking at these bulbs. What it it is saying is be be men of god, be women of god which means that have god oriented speech, god oriented life, god oriented morals, you're dealing everything should revolve around the god oriented aspect. It is like, you know, we have we are looking at these bulbs.
  65. 25:16 It's lit up, but it's lit up because there is an external server which is giving electricity, and that's why it's it's basically lighting up this room. Similarly, god is our server and when we connect with god, our entire personality is illuminated and the formula basically the quoranic formula that we get if we go through Quran and hadiths, it is very simple simple living and high thinking and they are interdependent. It's lit up, but it's lit up because there is an external server which is giving electricity, and that's why it's it's basically lighting up this room. Similarly, god is our server and when we connect with god, our entire personality is illuminated and the formula basically the quoranic formula that we get if we go through कुरान and hadiths, it is very simple simple living and high thinking and they are interdependent.
  66. 25:46 If you adopt simple living, it will save you from, the distractions, the glamour of things. And, once you are able to get that distraction off, It basically will help you engage your mind in meaningful interactions. In, in understanding, wisdom and the signs that are scattered all around, you're able to understand, those signs. If you adopt simple living, it will save you from, the distractions, the glamour of things. And, once you are able to get that distraction off, It basically will help you engage your mind in meaningful interactions. In, in understanding, wisdom and the signs that are scattered all around, you're able to understand, those signs.
  67. 26:15 It makes basically a person positive oriented. You're able to get negativity out of your system. So the other thing is that when you have faith, then there are three basic things that are required to make your life meaningful and this is very important. Patience, introspection and willingness to learn. It makes basically a person positive oriented. You're able to get negativity out of your system. So the other thing is that when you have faith, then there are three basic things that are required to make your life meaningful and this is very important. Patience, introspection and willingness to learn.
  68. 26:45 Patience because all of us and I am sure there won't be even a single person here who would not say that meri life mein challenges nahi aate hain, difficulties nahi aati hain. There are provocations, there are untoward incidents, there are undesirable situations that we get in ourselves into. Patience because all of us and I am sure there won't be even a single person here who would not say that मेरी life में challenges नहीं आते हैं, difficulties नहीं आती हैं. There are provocations, there are untoward incidents, there are undesirable situations that we get in ourselves into.
  69. 27:05 So, in that situations we have to have faith in god, we have to exercise patience and that is why Quran says that there is unlimited reward for people who have patience. Remember I mentioned that in, one of the session that for no other deed, Quran says that there is unrequited measure of reward. It is only patience. Just go through the entire Quran. So, in that situations we have to have faith in god, we have to exercise patience and that is why Quran says that there is unlimited reward for people who have patience. Remember I mentioned that in, one of the session that for no other deed, कुरान says that there is unrequited measure of reward. It is only patience. Just go through the entire कुरान.
  70. 27:32 You will find that it's only for patience that Allah taala says ki there is unlimited reward. Patience is such a big virtue and if you can observe patience in trying situations then you have given, you know, a very positive response. So patience is, is very important. The second thing is introspection because we make mistakes. We require course correction. You will find that it's only for patience that अल्लाह तालाह says कि there is unlimited reward. Patience is such a big virtue and if you can observe patience in trying situations then you have given, you know, a very positive response. So patience is, is very important. The second thing is introspection because we make mistakes. We require course correction.
  71. 28:00 But unless, we all do merciless introspection, we will not be able to find out where we are faulting, what needs to be corrected. And therefore, to become a strong personality, merciless introspection is very important. And thirdly, as I said, willingness to learn, which is basically tavassum. But unless, we all do merciless introspection, we will not be able to find out where we are faulting, what needs to be corrected. And therefore, to become a strong personality, merciless introspection is very important. And thirdly, as I said, willingness to learn, which is basically तवस्वम.
  72. 28:25 And you can get many examples from around nature that, you know, how you can convert those those experiences into spiritual experiences. So, tavassum is basically, you know, converting non spiritual into spiritual. For example, Maulana sahib has, you know, given many examples. And you can get many examples from around nature that, you know, how you can convert those those experiences into spiritual experiences. So, tavastuv is basically, you know, converting non spiritual into spiritual. For example, मुलाना साहब has, you know, given many examples.
  73. 28:51 One example that I really, it's a very beautiful example is that of a honeybee. Do you know, one drop of honey? A honeybee has to visit how many flowers? Any guess? A honeybee has to go to 200 flowers. 200 flowers? Yes, for one drop of honey. One example that I really, it's a very beautiful example is that of a honeybee. Do you know, one drop of honey? A honeybee has to visit how many flowers? Any guess? A honeybee has to go to 200 flowers. 200 flowers? Yes, for one drop of honey.
  74. 29:17 For one pound of honey, one pound is about roughly 450 grams. You will be shocked saade chaar sau gram ki honey ke liye. Do you know honey bees make how many trips? 20 lakh trips. Just Google it later where how the honey is made and honey has miraculous benefit. 20 lakh trips that honeybee makes to give us one pound of honey. For one pound of honey, one pound is about roughly 450 grams. You will be shocked Do you know honey bees make how many trips? 20 lakh trips. Just Google it later where how the honey is made and honey has miraculous benefit. 20 lakh trips that honeybee makes to give us one pound of honey.
  75. 29:47 But what is the message that honeybee is giving? A honeybee leaves its nest every day. It goes to 200 flowers, makes this lacks millions of trips and on its journey it faces lot of danger of getting killed, squashed or maybe, you know, it it it could get distracted. But honeybee does not do that. Honeybee leaves its, behind. It goes to flower. It reaches flower, detrieves the nectar, comes back. Burst to flower, different flower, retrieves nectar, come back. But what is the message that honeybee is giving? A honeybee leaves its nest every day. It goes to 200 flowers, makes this lacks millions of trips and on its journey it faces lot of danger of getting killed, squashed or maybe, you know, it it it could get distracted. But honeybee does not do that. Honeybee leaves its, behind. It goes to flower. It reaches flower, detrieves the nectar, comes back. Burst to flower, different flower, retrieves nectar, come back.
  76. 30:17 And this is exactly how, honey bee operates. So the message that honey bee is giving that be focused like me. If you become focused like me, your faith will also strengthen. Your work will also be done. Your productivity will go up. You will, in in a nutshell, you will become an extraordinary person. That's the message. So this is tavassum. And this is exactly how, honey bee operates. So the message that honey bee is giving that be focused like me. If you become focused like me, your faith will also strengthen. Your work will also be done. Your productivity will go up. You will, in in a nutshell, you will become an extraordinary person. That's the message. So this is तवसुम.
  77. 30:43 aapne ek non spiritual item ko spiritual mein kiya. yahi rasol ulla karte the. saba yahi kehte the ki agar bird bhi dekhte the to usse ek lesson dete the hamein. This is how we need to strengthen our faith and also look at it how great and creative god is. Like, there's a mind boggling thing I got to know recently. Does anyone of you know alpine birds or swift? Anybody? This is how we need to strengthen our faith and also look at it how great and creative god is. Like, there's a mind boggling thing I got to know recently. Does anyone of you know alpine birds or swift? Anybody?
  78. 31:11 So the alpine birds are, these are migratory birds and you will be surprised that, you know, kitni cheezein hain, matlab woh jo aata na ki aap saare drishyon ko aap pen bana do, oceans ko ink bana do, lekin allah taala ki glory nahi khatam hogi. These are migratory birds and they are always airborne. They are airborne, they are airborne for two hundred days. They don't land. So the alpine birds are, these are migratory birds and you will be surprised that, you know, These are migratory birds and they are always airborne. They are airborne, they are airborne for two hundred days. They don't land.
  79. 31:40 So while they are airborne, they sleep, they eat, they drink. That part of the brain which requires sleep, it shuts down and they are still flying. They eat insects, they they drink and then they they they keep traveling. Some are, birds which travels for ten months. Imagine not landing. So such is the creation of God almighty. So while they are airborne, they sleep, they eat, they drink. That part of the brain which requires sleep, it shuts down and they are still flying. They eat insects, they they drink and then they they they keep traveling. Some are, birds which travels for ten months. Imagine not landing. So such is the creation of God almighty.
  80. 32:06 When you think about it, you know the thought that how how creative and almighty and glorious our creator is. So these are, this is the way that you strengthen, you know, your imaan. Remember, you know, religious life begins with faith, but that's not the final destination. It keeps growing. You have to keep on awakening your, consciousness and, and the other thing is that we need to do, we need to keep on renewing our faith. When you think about it, you know the thought that how how creative and almighty and glorious our creator is. So these are, this is the way that you strengthen, you know, your ईमान. Remember, you know, religious life begins with faith, but that's not the final destination. It keeps growing. You have to keep on awakening your, consciousness and, and the other thing is that we need to do, we need to keep on renewing our faith.
  81. 32:36 rasulla ne kaha, to saba ne kaha kaise? to unhone bola yeh bol, yeh bolo la ilaha illallah. And so recitation of kalima is not once in a lifetime, but you keep doing it all the time. What really happens is that there is spiritual neglect that happens in our journey of life. We do mistakes. Sometimes the mistakes are grave mistakes. But what does the tradition says? And so recitation of कलिमा is not once in a lifetime, but you keep doing it all the time. What really happens is that there is spiritual neglect that happens in our journey of life. We do mistakes. Sometimes the mistakes are grave mistakes. But what does the tradition says?
  82. 33:05 It says that it even kalima aap padhte hain, renew karte hain, but with all consciousness, not in the sense of recitation jo maine abhi aap sabko bataya. To aapke pichhle jo past hain woh bhi mita mit jaate hain. So that is a beautiful tradition that it does away with the past things and therefore, you know, you need to keep on awakening your consciousness so that you don't become forgetful about God. It says that it even तलिमा आप पढ़ते हैं, renew करते हैं, but with all consciousness, not in the sense of recitation जो मैंने अभी आप सबको बताया. So that is a beautiful tradition that it does away with the past things and therefore, you know, you need to keep on awakening your consciousness so that you don't become forgetful about God.
  83. 33:33 You don't lose your sensitivity and and you are able to stay connected. That's the reason that why prophet said renew your faith. It's a it's a very beautiful thing. So that was about the first pillar. I'll come down to the the second pillar which is salah, prayer. And as we all know, we have to do five times prayer in the day. You don't lose your sensitivity and and you are able to stay connected. That's the reason that why prophet said renew your faith. It's a it's a very beautiful thing. So that was about the first pillar. I'll come down to the the second pillar which is सलाद, prayer. And as we all know, we have to do five times prayer in the day.
  84. 34:00 It also teaches us discipline of time ki hamein kab fazr karni hai, zohar karni hai, asr karni hai, maghrib, isha and we have to do it in the prescribed time. So it gives us a good lesson of time management. But ek bahut hi pyari hadith mujhe mili jo rasol ulla ne namaz ko, he compare it with the river. It also teaches us discipline of time कि हमें कब फज्ज़र करनी है, ज़ोहर करनी है, असर करनी है, मग़रीब, ईशाह and we have to do it in the prescribed time. So it gives us a good lesson of time management. But एक बहुत ही प्यारी हदीश मुझे मिली जो रसोल उल्ला ने नमाज़ को, he compare it with the river.
  85. 34:26 He said ki agar tumhare ghar ke darwaze par nadi ho, jiska pani gehra aur meetha ho, aur koi shakhs usmein paanch dafa nahaye, to tumhara kya khayal hai ki kuch mail baqi rahegi?
  86. 34:53 Look at the, verse of the Quran here. Believers, when you rise to pray, wash your faces and your hands up to the elbows and wipe your heads and wash your feet up to the ankles. So, this is the commandment that we get from the Quran ki jab hamein namaz ada karni hoti hai to hum sabse pehle pani dhoondhte hain. Look at the, verse of the Quran here. Believers, when you rise to pray, wash your faces and your hands up to the elbows and wipe your heads and wash your feet up to the ankles. So, this is the commandment that we get from the
  87. 35:22 And water is such a big blessing. Aap yeh sochiye ki agar aapka haath ganda ho jaye, aapko koi aur cheez woh fresh feeling ya us gandi ko nahi hata sakti jo pani kar sakti hai. Yeh pani ki aisi sifat hai ki woh saaf karta hai. No other thing can clean the dirt. So water is a big blessing. We should not waste water. And water is such a big blessing. No other thing can clean the dirt. So water is a big blessing. We should not waste water.
  88. 35:46 It's very important that we thank god for every single drop of water and we should not waste it. But jab hum buzu karte hain, ablution karte hain, that from that very moment our namaz starts because it's such a beautiful process. Lekin hum log kya karte hain? Hum log bahut jaldi routine mein dekhte hain log karte hain. But what is ablution? What is wazu? It's very important that we thank god for every single drop of water and we should not waste it. But जब हम बुजू करते हैं, ablution करते हैं, that from that very moment our नमाज़ starts because it's such a beautiful process. But what is ablution? What is वज़ू?
  89. 36:10 When you, when you wash your hands, you are actually praying to god that god save these hands from doing any evil. Wash any evil that these hands have done. When you take water in your mouth, you rinse and you wash your face. When you, when you wash your hands, you are actually praying to god that god save these hands from doing any evil. Wash any evil that these hands have done. When you take water in your mouth, you rinse and you wash your face.
  90. 36:33 Then your soul is praying that, oh lord, save the ill effects of any improper food that I have taken. Any any evil word that I I have spoken, any evil thing that I have seen, save me from it. When you take water and you massage your head, you're actually praying. Then your soul is praying that, oh lord, save the ill effects of any improper food that I have taken. Any any evil word that I I have spoken, any evil thing that I have seen, save me from it. When you take water and you massage your head, you're actually praying.
  91. 36:56 Your your entire words get molded into the prayer when you say, god, save the effects of any evil ideas that my mind have conceived. Purify my mind. Your your entire words get molded into the prayer when you say, god, save the effects of any evil ideas that my mind have conceived. Purify my mind.
  92. 37:09 When you take water and you wash your feet up to your ankles, you're you're beseeching god that god, I should always tread the path of righteousness and justice and I should not tread the path which displeases you. So you see how evolution wazu becomes a prayer. When you take water and you wash your feet up to your ankles, you're you're beseeching god that god, I should always tread the path of righteousness and justice and I should not tread the path which displeases you. So you see how evolution वज़ू becomes a prayer.
  93. 37:35 matlab aap jab kabhi wazu karein yeh soch le thought mein and believe me sahaba jab namaz ke liye apne aap ko tayyar karte the, wo itne zyada enthusiastic hote the. Itni khushi ke saath wo intezar karte the namaz ka. There are, you know, so many instances. Ek example main batana chahunga yeh Hazrat Obaybin Kaab ka hai. There are, you know, so many instances.
  94. 38:03 Unhone narrate kiya ki ek sahabi Masjid Nabvi se bahut door rehte the. Lekin kabhi bhi unki unki namaz miss nahi hui. Door se aate the.
  95. 38:31 Unhone kaha ki mujhe yeh manzoor nahi hai ki mera ghar masjid ke pehlu mein ho. Masjid Nabvi ki baat ho rahi hai yeh. Mujhe yeh manzoor nahi hai ki mera ghar masjid ke pehlu mein ho. Main to chahta hoon ki mera kadmon se chalkar masjid mein aana aur jaana likha jaye. Subhanallah ko jab bataya gaya unhone kaha unka likh diya gaya. Unka sawab likh diya gaya. Itna zyada enthusiasm for, for namaz. इतना ज़्यादा enthusiasm for, for नमाज़.
  96. 39:01 Hazrat Zaid bin Sabit ke saath jab Rasoolullah namaz ke liye ja rahe the to bahut chhote chhote kadam le rahe the. Bahut chhote chhote. To unhone to Allah Tala usko namaz mein hi shumar karta hai.
  97. 39:29 Your, your namaz is counted from the time you start preparing yourself for namaz. Be very enthusiastic about prayer. Prayer is everything. So, sahaba ka aise hi tha. Tabhi unke andar itni zyada maarifat thi. We should be very excited and and you know what is prayer? Prayer is basically you, you live with this feeling that I am in the presence of god. Your, your नमाज़ is counted from the time you start preparing yourself for नमाज़. Be very enthusiastic about prayer. Prayer is everything. We should be very excited and and you know what is prayer? Prayer is basically you, you live with this feeling that I am in the presence of god.
  98. 39:58 Aapke andar jab yeh ehsaas hoga, aap masjid se bahar niklenge ya ghar se bahar niklenge, you will never have, you know, a dealing which will be, which will be unjust. You will deal very rightly with everyone. Your interactions, your thinking process, everything will fall in line. Without this spirit, everything else is just a ritual, is just a mechanical thing. आपके अंदर जब यह एहसास होगा, आप मस्जिद से बाहर निकलेंगे या घर से बाहर निकलेंगे, you will never have, you know, a dealing which will be, which will be unjust. You will deal very rightly with everyone. Your interactions, your thinking process, everything will fall in line. Without this spirit, everything else is just a ritual, is just a mechanical thing.
  99. 40:25 Woh aisa hai ki jaise agar ek beta leta hua hai and, you know, his father is standing, he doesn't have respect for his father. A brother whose sister is hungry but he doesn't care is not a brother. A friend whose friend just died and he's still enjoying is not a friend at all. वह ऐसा है कि जैसे अगर एक बेटा लेटा हुआ है and, you know, his father is standing, he doesn't have respect for his father. A brother whose sister is hungry but he doesn't care is not a brother. A friend whose friend just died and he's still enjoying is not a friend at all.
  100. 40:44 So therefore it's very important that we imbibe the spirit aspect of, of of these pillars and the particular pillar that I'm talking about is the salah. Be very enthusiastic about, about salah. Also, prayer is the best source of crisis management and this we get from Quran. So therefore it's very important that we imbibe the spirit aspect of, of of these pillars and the particular pillar that I'm talking about is the सलाद. Be very enthusiastic about, about सलाद. Also, prayer is the best source of crisis management and this we get from कुरान.
  101. 41:10 We know Hazrat Yusuf ki story Surah Yusuf usko best story bhi kaha gaya hai. And what happened? We all know that prophet joseph because of the misdeeds of his brother was separated from his father, prophet Jacob, prophet Yusuf, prophet Jacob, right? And what happened? And what happened? We all know that prophet joseph because of the misdeeds of his brother was separated from his father, prophet Jacob, prophet युसूफ, prophet Jacob, right? And what happened?
  102. 41:34 Later on, even the younger brother of prophet Joseph, Benjamin, was also separated. Now for a father whose two beloving sons and the righteous in the pious and also the prophet, they had the promise of the prophethood at that time when he was a kid. They are separated. Can you imagine the state of the father? hamari to ek mobile gum jata hai to hum pareshan ho jate hain. yahan par to aap yeh sochiye ke unka beloved son was separated. He did not started complaining. Later on, even the younger brother of prophet Joseph, Benjamin, was also separated. Now for a father whose two beloving sons and the righteous in the pious and also the prophet, they had the promise of the prophethood at that time when he was a kid. They are separated. Can you imagine the state of the father? He did not started complaining.
  103. 42:04 What does Quran says? He says, I only complain of my anguish and my sorrow to God. So the the lesson that we are getting is that there are two options for all of us all the time. One is to bring in the human aspect. We bring in the human aspect, we will always complain. We will never cease to complain. What does Quran says? He says, I only complain of my anguish and my sorrow to God. So the the lesson that we are getting is that there are two options for all of us all the time. One is to bring in the human aspect. We bring in the human aspect, we will always complain. We will never cease to complain.
  104. 42:29 The other aspect is you turn towards god in a crisis, in a situation of grief, in a situation of loss, in a situation of challenge, difficulty, problem. You you you turn towards god. What are you doing? You are saying that I am trying to convert my loss into gain. Who can compensate for our grief, our loss? Without God almighty, there's nothing that can compensate us. He's the pickest compensator. The other aspect is you turn towards god in a crisis, in a situation of grief, in a situation of loss, in a situation of challenge, difficulty, problem. You you you turn towards god. What are you doing? You are saying that I am trying to convert my loss into gain. Who can compensate for our grief, our loss? Without God almighty, there's nothing that can compensate us. He's the pickest compensator.
  105. 42:59 So when you turn towards God almighty, then you are turning a problem into a solution. So when you turn towards God almighty, then you are turning a problem into a solution.
  106. 43:05 And no loss, remember, is final because in every loss there is a hidden gain. And no loss, remember, is final because in every loss there is a hidden gain.
  107. 43:11 But that gain will come to you when you reach out to God almighty. But that gain will come to you when you reach out to God almighty.
  108. 43:17 And I must also tell you this that this is a very important thing, you know, just remember And I must also tell you this that this is a very important thing, you know, just remember
  109. 43:23 this for life. this for life.
  110. 43:30 We cannot afford to be in despair because the moment we are in despair, we are giving an indication of an unbeliever. I'm not saying this, Quran is saying this. Look at the second verse after that. Do not despair of God's mercy. None but those who deny the truth despair of God's mercy. So what is Quran saying? We cannot afford to be in despair because the moment we are in despair, we are giving an indication of an unbeliever. I'm not saying this, Quran is saying this. Look at the second verse after that. Do not despair of God's mercy. None but those who deny the truth despair of God's mercy. So what is Quran saying?
  111. 43:56 sirf wahi despair karte hain, wahi grief complaint karte hain jo non believers hain. We cannot afford to do that. Always be hopeful, always be positive in life and turn towards god and then god will make your minus a plus. He will compensate for it. So how does, how does a prayer, help a believer? We cannot afford to do that. Always be hopeful, always be positive in life and turn towards god and then god will make your minus a plus. He will compensate for it. So how does, how does a prayer, help a believer?
  112. 44:25 Prayer basically strengthens a believer's resolve, as I was explaining it, to become a positive person, a positive member in the society. It builds up an attitude of modesty, well-being, sympathy, compassion towards towards other other others in the in the society. Look at this verse of the Koran. Prostrate yourself and come closer to God. Prayer basically strengthens a believer's resolve, as I was explaining it, to become a positive person, a positive member in the society. It builds up an attitude of modesty, well-being, sympathy, compassion towards towards other other others in the in the society. Look at this verse of the Koran. Prostrate yourself and come closer to God.
  113. 44:55 This is, in other words, prophet mohammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam also said that a believer is closest to god when he is in prostration. So beseech him as much in that state. Therefore, you know, I mean, in the entire day, in your informal interactions, you remember god. And once you do that, the prayer starts helping you in very many ways, in everything, every sphere of your life. This is, in other words, prophet मोहम्मद सलाह विस्तान also said that a believer is closest to god when he is in prostration. So beseech him as much in that state. Therefore, you know, I mean, in the entire day, in your informal interactions, you remember god. And once you do that, the prayer starts helping you in very many ways, in everything, every sphere of your life.
  114. 45:24 This is what Quran says. When you have finished the prayer, remember god while standing and sitting and lying on your sides. When you feel secure, say your prayers in the prescribed form. Then it says, say your prayers morning and evening and during parts of the night. Surely God makes amends for evil. This is a reminder for people who pay heed. This is what पुरान says. When you have finished the prayer, remember god while standing and sitting and lying on your sides. When you feel secure, say your prayers in the prescribed form. Then it says, say your prayers morning and evening and during parts of the night. Surely God makes amends for evil. This is a reminder for people who pay heed.
  115. 45:54 So if there are problems, like I said, turn towards God. Remember, dushman agar kawiyast, nigahba kawiyast. This is a Persian saying which is if problem is bigger then problem solver is biggest. If problem is big then problem solver is bigger, right? So, therefore, you know, your your prayer should also come from your heart. So if there are problems, like I said, turn towards God. This is a Persian saying which is if problem is bigger then problem solver is biggest. If problem is big then problem solver is bigger, right? So, therefore, you know, your your prayer should also come from your heart.
  116. 46:23 And to explain it better, know, there's one example that I have to give. A person visited my guru Maulana Wahiduddin Khan sahib and he came with a question and he said to Maulana sahib ki main das saal se iska jawab dhoondh raha hoon. I have read many books, I have visited saints, I have interacted with religious scholars lekin jawab nahi mil raha. Aap bata dijiye please. To unhone kaha kya sawal hai? And to explain it better, know, there's one example that I have to give. A person visited my गुरु मुलाना वैदुद्दीन खान साहब and he came with a question and he said to मुलाना साहब कि मैं दस साल से इसका जवाब ढूंढ रहा हूँ. I have read many books, I have visited saints, I have interacted with religious scholars
  117. 46:51 Unhone kaha yeh isme aazam kya hai? To maine kaha ki isme aazam ka matlab yeh hai ki aapne kuch ratey ratayi alfaaz bole jadoo mantar ki tarah aur aap aap aap samjhe ki isme aazam ho gaya. And remember we discussed isme aazam. It is invoking god with highest, with his great names and with his attributes. It is something that comes from the bottom of your heart. And remember we discussed इसमें आज़म. It is invoking god with highest, with his great names and with his attributes. It is something that comes from the bottom of your heart.
  118. 47:16 yeh dakhili toofan ka khariji izhaar hai, which means that it is the external expression of an internal tempest. It has to come from your heart, from from your, from your state of feeling when you are helpless, when you when you cry in solitude. Aisa hota hai na kitne hum sabke saath hua hoga ki kabhi bahut zyada problem hogi. यह दाखिली तूफान का खारिजी इज़्हार है, which means that it is the external expression of an internal tempest. It has to come from your heart, from from your, from your state of feeling when you are helpless, when you when you cry in solitude.
  119. 47:44 hum akele baithe hue hain and aksar yahi hota hai ki you know tears roll down and then you reach out to god. That prayer is the prayer which is coming from a broken heart and that prayer is the prayer of isme aazam because woh aapke dil ke, dil ki gehrai se nikal rahe hain. That is what the real prayer is. हम अकेले बैठे हुए हैं and अक्सर यही होता है कि you know tears roll down and then you reach out to god. That prayer is the prayer which is coming from a broken heart and that prayer is the prayer of इसमें आज़म because वह आपके दिल के, दिल की गहराई से निकल रहे हैं. That is what the real prayer is.
  120. 48:08 ibne Masood ka woh bada achha call hai ki prayer is like a knock on the door and one who keeps knocking the king's door, the door is opened for him. Rasulullah ne kaha ki prayer is worship, prayer is the kernel of worship. ऐब्ने मसूद का वह बड़ा अच्छा call है कि prayer is like a knock on the door and one who keeps knocking the king's door, the door is opened for him. रसुलाह ने कहा कि prayer is worship, prayer is the kernel of worship.
  121. 48:29 Look at what the Quran says, they forsake their beds calling upon the lord in fear and in hope, and spend out of what we have provided them with. So best prayer I would say is also when you reach out in solitude, you cannot ask any senior person to do a prayer of ismehaazam or do a deep prayer for you. Look at what the Quran says, they forsake their bets calling upon the lord in fear and in hope, and spend out of what we have provided them with. So best prayer I would say is also when you reach out in solitude, you cannot ask any senior person to do a prayer of इस्मेहाज़म or do a deep prayer for you.
  122. 48:56 hum dua ke liye to bolte hain, lekin prayer humein khud hi karni hai, lekin dil ki gehrai se karni hai. Remember yeh sahi Bukhari keh rahi hai sir ki prayer is your faith. If your faith is deep, if your faith is strong, so shall be your prayer. Aapka jitna deep faith hoga, utni deep prayer niklegi. Remember यह सही बुखारी कह रही है sir कि prayer is your faith. If your faith is deep, if your faith is strong, so shall be your prayer.
  123. 49:22 To isiliye humein humein imaan ko phir se hum pehle pehle pillar par aa rahe hain. Humein apne imaan ko mazboot karna hai. We have to strengthen our faith which is very important. The other thing is that prayer is also important. It is also in a way, it is like a dawa work and by here dawa I mean that you know you are conveying the the peaceful, the spiritual message of Islam through the actions of the prayer. We have to strengthen our faith which is very important. The other thing is that prayer is also important. It is also in a way, it is like a दावा work and by here दावा I mean that you know you are conveying the the peaceful, the spiritual message of Islam through the actions of the prayer.
  124. 49:52 And there are many examples in the history, like even during early period of Islam jab Mecca mein sahabi namaz padhte the to unhein dekh ke log bade influence hote the. They used to be like in awe looking at their unity, their humility, their devotion and it so happened in Africa also that when Muslim traders used to do prayer in congregation, the local population got influenced big time. And there are many examples in the history, like even during early period of Islam They used to be like in awe looking at their unity, their humility, their devotion and it so happened in Africa also that when Muslim traders used to do prayer in congregation, the local population got influenced big time.
  125. 50:22 And looking at them, there is a very interesting story of a French officer in Algeria and this is being documented in the book Islam thoughts and reflections. His name was Henry de Castro. He was, he was angry at the Arabs ki paanch baar namaz padhte hue kehte hain kya kar rahe hain? But then when he got a closer look, he began to understand. He got influenced and he began to follow. 126. 50:51 kutti people who were doing the namaze thought that they would have such a profound impact on him. So it is also one way of, you know, conveying the message. I have been to many mosques overseas and I have seen that bahar bahut foreign tourists bhi aate hain and wo dekhte hain jabki namaz parhte hain, they become curious. They ask questions ki iska kya matlab hai? कुत्ती people who were doing the नमाज़े thought that they would have such a profound impact on him. I have been to many mosques overseas and I have seen that बाहर बहुत foreign tourists भी आते हैं and वो देखते हैं जबकि नमाज़ प्रणय, they become curious.
  127. 51:16 What is it that, you know, when they turn their head this side, both the sides and yeh Allah Akbar awaaz aati hai. What, what is the translation of that? Something very basic also they don't know. So, therefore, you, when you are doing your namaz, more than one benefit is happening because of it. What is it that, you know, when they turn their head this side, both the sides and What, what is the translation of that? Something very basic also they don't know. So, therefore, you, when you are doing your नमाज़, more than one benefit is happening because of it.
  128. 51:35 And also, you know, the example of Hind who was the wife of Abu Sufyan, she followed Islam after the Mecca was conquered and she made this statement that when she witnessed, she said today I have witnessed the worship of God that I have never witnessed. So she was so much, you know, influenced. And remember that, you know, I mean, I'm talking about all the positive aspect. And also, you know, the example of हिंद who was the wife of अबू सुफिन, she followed Islam after the मक्का was conquered and she made this statement that when she witnessed, she said today I have witnessed the worship of God that I have never witnessed. So she was so much, you know, influenced. And remember that, you know, I mean, I'm talking about all the positive aspect.
  129. 52:03 But at the same time, let me also warn that, you know, there are, there are serious consequences of neglecting the prayer. Look at what, Quran is saying. But then they were succeeded by generations who neglected their prayer and were driven by their own desires. They will assuredly meet with destruction. So, Quran is warning explicitly that you can't neglect your prayer. But at the same time, let me also warn that, you know, there are, there are serious consequences of neglecting the prayer. 130. 52:32 Salah is the cornerstone of a believer's faith. If you are steadfast, then you're strengthening your character. If you're not following, then there is a spiritual and a moral decline that sets in your life. And this is how, you know, you get warned in the next words. So, woe to those who pray but whose hearts are not in their prayer. सलाहत is the cornerstone of a believer's faith. If you are steadfast, then you're strengthening your character. If you're not following, then there is a spiritual and a moral decline that sets in your life. And this is how, you know, you get warned in the next words. So, woe to those who pray but whose hearts are not in their prayer.
  131. 53:00 Those who do things only to be seen by others, who are uncharitable even over very small things. rasool ne kaha ke the only difference between us and the disbelievers is the namaz. If you abandon that, then we are like disbelievers. So we cannot abandon the namaz and we see that nowadays that Muslims get into the technicalities of things. Those who do things only to be seen by others, who are uncharitable even over very small things. रसुल्ला ने कहा कि the only difference between us and the disbelievers is the prayer. 132. 53:30 The element of spirit lacks, I mean even in mosque we find that, you know, you don't get to see. I am not making a sweeping a general statement but most of the places we see that and I have myself witnessed it and I will tell you a personal example. The element of spirit lacks, I mean even in mosque we find that, you know, you don't get to see. I am not making a sweeping a general statement but most of the places we see that and I have myself witnessed it and I will tell you a personal example.
  133. 53:50 This was when I had gone to US with Maulana sahib and there was a program which was organized in a mosque ke Maulana Wahiduddin Khan sahib Delhi se aaye hain aur unka talk hai. And the most important part of that visit was that they invited a group of christians and they were from very academic and a very good background. And the most important part of that visit was that they invited a group of christians and they were from very academic and a very good background.
  134. 54:18 And the authorities thought that they will get a very good message. But we had not anticipated that there was a group who had tried to sabotage the talk because they did not agree with his thought process. And so it happened that, you know, they created a ruckus and the imam got up, lot of other people got up and they tried to dissuade them that we are inside the mosque. Let him answer the questions. And the authorities thought that they will get a very good message. But we had not anticipated that there was a group who had tried to sabotage the talk because they did not agree with his thought process. 135. 54:47 They didn't. We came out of the mosque, but you know what was the biggest casualty? The biggest casualty was a group of Christians who would eagerly come to listen to the message of islam and later on they said that and it was very heartbreaking. They said ke inke andar unity nahi hai because yeh apne religious places mein bhi aisa karte hain. It was so heartbreaking. They didn't. 136. 55:13 So the important point is that, you know, wherever we are, we have to inculcate the the spiritual aspect of, of the pillars and show it through our life, in our conduct, in our dealings. That is most important and yeh aisa nahi hai ke Sahaba ke waqt nahi hota tha. So the important point is that, you know, wherever we are, we have to inculcate the the spiritual aspect of, of the pillars and show it through our life, in our conduct, in our dealings. That is most important and
  137. 55:32 Aap yeh dekhiye ke Syed bin Musayyab ki riwayat hai ke jab Hazrat Umar aur Hazrat Usman mein dispute hota tha, to wo aise baat karte the ke on Lucas kehte the ab yeh kabhi reconcile nahi karenge. Imagine you are talking about Hazrat Umar and Hazrat Usman. They used to think ab toh yeh kabhi nahi aapas mein milenge. Imagine you are talking about हज़रत उमर and हज़रत उस्मान. They used to think
  138. 55:54 But after their discussion, the dispute, their, you know, you know, with, with so much of ferocity, whatever, you know, they would part with agreement on the most desirable thing. You can have a difference of opinion, which is not a problem. But difference of opinion should not become a reason for separation for parting. So that is very important. 139. 56:21 So, you know, in a, in a nutshell, we have to inculcate the feeling of gratitude in us, and that is an essential aspect of worship because even in Quran, God says remember me and I will remember you. Be grateful to me and do not deny me. Heart which is, you know, filled with gratitude. So, you know, in a, in a nutshell, we have to inculcate the feeling of gratitude in us, and that is an essential aspect of worship because even in Quran, God says remember me and I will remember you. 140. 56:45 Remember, agar hum apne andar woh ehsaas hamesha rakhen, gratitude ka, acknowledgement ka, linking of day to day experiences ka, apna iman ko badhate rahen, to we will be more resilient towards problems, towards challenges and difficulties. So understand that namaz is not just a mere ritual. It is a comprehensive system of worship. It instills discipline, unity and accountability. It nurtures spirituality. So understand that prayer is not just a mere ritual. It is a comprehensive system of worship. It instills discipline, unity and accountability. It nurtures spirituality.
  141. 57:14 And, you know, prophet encapsulated the essence of namaz by saying that when you stand for namaz, pray as if you see God. And if you can't achieve that state, then know that God sees you. This is very important. Thank you. 142. 57:43 Rajat bhai, could you please tell us the spirit of salah? Basically, spirit of salah, like, you know, it's in, as I explained in different headings of the presentation. It is, you know, the acknowledgement of god almighty and like, you know, I mentioned in the end ke rasool ne kaha ke jab namaz ke liye khade ho to aise, aise karo ke aise namaz ada karo ke jaise tum dekh rahe ho. Aur agar nahi dekh rahe ho to know that god is seeing you. रजत भाई, could you please tell us the spirit of सलाद? Basically, spirit of सलाद, like, you know, it's in, as I explained in different headings of the presentation. It is, you know, the acknowledgement of god almighty and like, you know, I mentioned in the end और अगर नहीं देख रहे हो तो know that god is seeing you.
  143. 58:12 So, for everything in this life main kuch bhi karta hoon. You know, the, the, the material pleasures or the spiritual pleasures and the fact that I am living, I am existing, it is all because of the blessing of god. So, a way, when you, when you bore down, you also say in namaz Allah o Akbar, you say so many times. And in that end, it's implicit that god is great but I am not great. So, for everything in this life You know, the, the, the material pleasures or the spiritual pleasures and the fact that I am living, I am existing, it is all because of the blessing of god. So, a way, when you, when you bore down, you also say in नमाज़ अल्लाह व अखबार, you say so many times. And in that end, it's implicit that god is great but I am not great.
  144. 58:39 And therefore your, you know, entire existence is in a way surrendering to god almighty with acknowledgement, with gratitude. Isi liye jo evolution wala maine aspect bhi bataya ke har cheez namaz ki jo hai, woh ek tarike se acknowledgement ka ek expression hai. And, and the fact that, you know, I am a recipient and god is the giver. And therefore your, you know, entire existence is in a way surrendering to god almighty with acknowledgement, with gratitude. And, and the fact that, you know, I am a recipient and god is the giver.
  145. 59:07 So, that is what I feel is the essence or the spirit of namaz. So, okay, then, yeah, so then let let's ask some questions, though, when you don't have questions. So, yeah, I think, Rajat talked about, god realization, right? Or the meaning of of the first pillar of Islam. So please, who can explain it? So, that is what I feel is the essence or the spirit of prayer. So, okay, then, yeah, so then let let's ask some questions, though, when you don't have questions. So, yeah, I think, रजत talked about, god realization, right? Or the meaning of of the first pillar of Islam. So please, who can explain it?
  146. 59:35 What is, what did you understand with that? Yeah. Bataiye zara a sense of Tauheed ki baat kari. So what is the meaning of Tauheed? What is, what did you understand with that? Yeah. So what is the meaning of तौहीद?
  147. 59:48 Sir, tauheed ka matlab yeh hai ki sabse pehle to main is baat par imaan laana ki is Sir,
  148. 1:00:25 poori duniya ko banane wale ek hain jo hai Allah aur bahar aakar apni man marzi chala rahe
  149. 1:01:02 hain to yeh tauheed hi nahin hai.
  150. 1:01:39 Very good. Very good, very good. Explain. Aur isi mein ek main ek example deta hoon jo mera personal life ka example hai ke main, pehle main jab main car mein jaata tha to main khud drive karta tha car aur drive, car drive karte hue hands free ya mobile phones to naye naye the. To aap baat kar rahe ho, aap akele ho gaadi mein, to aap jise marzi phone karo, jo marzi aap baat karo aur aap baat karte hue chale jao. Very good. Very good, very good. Explain.
  151. 1:02:08 To main office jaata tha, office se wapas aata tha, yahi routine hota hai. To no issues at all and you just keep talking and you talk nonsense, you talk whatever you want to and then once what happened? तो no issues at all and you just keep talking and you talk nonsense, you talk whatever you want to and then once what happened?
  152. 1:02:22 Main kaam ke silsile mein I had to go to matlab Delhi ke bahar jaana tha and then I had to go to मतलब Delhi के बाहर जाना था and then
  153. 1:02:27 I had to take a taxi and when I took a taxi, ab main taxi mein baitha as I had to take a taxi and when I took a taxi, अब मैं taxi में बैठा as
  154. 1:02:32 usual gaadi mein baith gaya aur maine phir hands free lagaya aur maine phone on kiya, main baatcheet usual गाड़ी में बैठ गया और मैंने फिर hands free लगाया और मैंने phone on किया, मैं बातचीत
  155. 1:02:37 karne laga and then I realized ki wahan driver baitha hai aage and I am sitting at the back. करने लगा and then I realized कि वहां driver बैठा है आगे and I am sitting at the back.
  156. 1:02:42 So I can't just talk whatever I feel like or I can't just say whatever I feel like So I can't just talk whatever I feel like or I can't just say whatever I feel like
  157. 1:02:47 saying because there is someone listening. saying because there is someone listening.
  158. 1:02:53 Right? I can't talk nonsense, I can't talk this, I can't talk that and jo mere mann mein aaye ho, main baat nahi kar sakta hoon. To mujhe thoda sochkar bolna padega and that's what just gave me a lot of realization ke that's what we need to do even when we are alone. Tabhi bhi hamein yeh realize karna hai ke Allah miya to hai jo sun raha hai. To agar hum wahan galat baat bol rahe hain, I was very conscious because of the driver. Right? I can't talk nonsense, I can't talk this, I can't talk that and तो मुझे थोड़ा सोचकर बोलना पड़ेगा and that's what just gave me a lot of realization कि that's what we need to do even when we are alone. I was very conscious because of the driver.
  159. 1:03:19 So I have to be conscious even when I am alone because there is God who's listening to us and who's seeing me all the time. So that's what, you know, really help me to understand what what it means that God is there. Sahi baat example. Yeah. Practical. So I have to be conscious even when I am alone because there is God who's listening to us and who's seeing me all the time. So that's what, you know, really help me to understand what what it means that God is there. सही बात example. Yeah. Practical.
  160. 1:03:40 I mean, yeah, it was such a thing ke matlab main aisa handicap ho gaya uske saamne phir baat karne ko ke matlab ke yeh main boloon, yeh nahi boloon, yeh baat kar sakta hoon, ghar ki baat kar sakta hoon, nahi kar sakta hoon, office ki kuch baat kar sakta hoon, nahi kar sakta hoon. So I was very conscious and then I realized ke that's what it means. So when when you are alone and, and there's no one watching, God is watching you, and then you have to talk, you know, sense all the time. I mean, yeah, it was such a thing So I was very conscious and then I realized कि that's what it means. So when when you are alone and, and there's no one watching, God is watching you, and then you have to talk, you know, sense all the time.
  161. 1:04:08 Your your mind, your thoughts have to be, you know, as pure as as God wants them to be. To that, that's what I felt was god realization aur ek usi ke liye bahut hi ek achhi, ek hadith hai, hadith mein the waqia hai na? Huzoor ka jab aap ja rahe the, hijrat kar rahe the wahan par, to ek aap raste mein gaar mein chhup gaye, right? Your your mind, your thoughts have to be, you know, as pure as as God wants them to be. तो that, that's what I felt was god realization और एक उसी के लिए बहुत ही एक अच्छी, एक हदीस है, हदीस में the वाक्या है ना?
  162. 1:04:35 Aur unhone hazaar hubkar aapke saath the aur uzoor aur bughar mein andar chale gaye aur jo log the Makka mein jo aapke dushmane jo mushrikeen the woh toh dhoondhte hue aapko almost wahan pahunch gaye aur jab Hazrat Abubakr aur, aur aap Hazrat the, to Hazrat Abubakr thode ghabra gaye aur unhone logon ke qadmon ki bhi aawaz suni ke bhai itne nazdeek aa gaye log.
  163. 1:05:02 to aapne unse kaha ki ab to yeh, yeh rajna rasoolullah, yeh to ab itne nazdeek aa gaye. ab kya hoga hamara? to huzoor ne kaha ki un do ke bare mein tumhara kya khayal hai jiska teesra saathi allah hai? yes. isn't it powerful? isn't it? very, very reassuring for everyone ki un do ke bare, haan, aapne yahi puchha tha ki hum to do hain woh itne saare log aa gaye. Yes. Isn't it powerful? Isn't it? Very, very reassuring for everyone
  164. 1:05:30 to aapne kaha ki bhai un do ka bare mein tumhara kya khayal hai ki jiska teesra allah hai. to hamein yeh hamesha sochna hai ki we are not alone, there is god who is with us. तो हमें यह हमेशा सोचना है कि we are not alone, there is god who is with us.
  165. 1:05:43 so that's what god realization and the presence of god means for, or should mean for all of us, that god is there all the time and that omnipresence and that's what is meant by realization of god and living your life according to what god asks you. because phir aapke har action mein dikhega na, right? phir aap kuch galat kaam karte waqt foreign conscious ho hi jaoge. So that's what god realization and the presence of god means for, or should mean for all of us, that god is there all the time and that omnipresence and that's what is meant by realization of god and living your life according to what god asks you.
  166. 1:06:08 you will know ki main yeh karoon ki nahi karoon kyunki koi nahi dekh raha hai, allah mein dekh raha hai aur yeh ek bahut bada reason hai jo i think rajat, i mean, thoda jaate hue reh gaye ki hum duniya mein jo achhai hai, i think he just started probably with it ki jo belief in god hai wahi achhai hai. uske alawa sab kuch corrupt hai woh isliye i think that's what you started with, right? achha uska matlab kya hai? I think he just started probably with it कि जो belief in god है वही अच्छाई है. I think that's what you started with, right?
  167. 1:06:37 main achha kyun hoon is duniya mein? haan? ek hai morality hai, meri maybe inborn morality hai. morality, consciousness that i am born with, ok? that might just force you. all depends on which side of the philosophy you, you side with, whether you are born with some morality or not or you it over a, you know, over your lifetime. Morality, consciousness that I am born with, ok? That might just force you. All depends on which side of the philosophy you, you side with, whether you are born with some morality or not or you it over a, you know, over your lifetime.
  168. 1:07:01 so that's, that's a separate debate but mere andar se achhai karne ki jo chahat hai ya justuju hai kisi ke saath bhi ya main galat kaam nahi karta hoon. let's look at it the other way. main galat kaam nahi karta hoon wahi ki main signal todkar chala jaun agar police wala nahi khada hai to? is that fine? why? allah ka dar. So that's, that's a separate debate but Let's look at it the other way. Is that fine? Why?
  169. 1:07:30 so aap achhe sirf ho sakte ho kab? jab aapke dil mein allah ka dar hai, right? to kai baar na logon se mulaqat hoti hai to woh matlab yeh just a may be any other input which you can give. so woh apne aap ko itna bhi prepare nahi kar paate. unko pata hai namaz padhni hai unko kya woh namaz padh payein phir unke apne excuses chalte rehte hain ki humse ho nahi pa raha hai. to aapka koi suggestion hai ismein? aur ismein chhoti umr se lekar bade umr tak ke bahut saare log hote hain. तो कई बार ना लोगों से मुलाक़ात होती है तो वह मतलब यह just a may be any other input which you can give.
  170. 1:08:00 yeah. jo discipline nahi ho paate hain namaz ko lekar. unko pata hai mujhe padhna. jo aapka koi input hai iske andar, koi suggestion aap dena chahenge? yeah, i mean there are two parts to it. but i mean if you look at it this way, agar aap unse puchenge ki do love allah, to woh kya bolenge? karte hain. aap unse puchen ki allah ka dushman kaun hai? shaitan. Yeah. Yeah, I mean there are two parts to it. But I mean if you look at it this way, अगर आप उनसे पूछेंगे कि do love अल्लाह, तो वह क्या बोलेंगे?
  171. 1:08:30 to agar aap namaz nahi padhenge, kaun khush hoga? you will strengthen whom? you will strengthen satan, hebelis. do you very want to strengthen him? aap yeh dekhiye ki har baari agar aapke dimag mein ek khayal aaye to aap yeh sochiye ki allah ne mujhe sab kuch diya abhi jo sharik bhai ne bhi bataya. i will not strengthen the satan kyunki sabse zyada khush wahi hoga. You will strengthen whom? You will strengthen satan, hebelis. Do you very want to strengthen him? I will not strengthen the satan
  172. 1:08:58 shaitan sabse zyada khush hoga ki iski namaz chhoot gayi. woh yahi to karta hai. kitni baar hota hai ki namaz mein bhi vrakat bhool jaate hain. he tries to steal your prayer. don't let him do that and sometimes woh poori chori kar deta hai jaisa vikrant is saying ki namaz hi nahi ada hoti. now you have to understand that what is your priority? He tries to steal your prayer. Don't let him do that and sometimes वो पूरी चोरी कर देता है जैसा विक्रांत is saying कि नमाज़ ही नहीं अदा होती. Now you have to understand that what is your priority?
  173. 1:09:22 unki life mein namaz priority bani hi nahi, lekin woh kuch to priority banai hui hai unhone. which will be like their material thing. either their, you know, whatever friend circle or their, you know, material things that they, they would be acquiring. to aap jis tarike se jaise aap competitive exams ke liye taiyari karte hain, to aisa nahi hai ki ek raat mein overnight ho jata hai. it's a step by step process. aap uski taiyari karte hain. Which will be like their material thing. Either their, you know, whatever friend circle or their, you know, material things that they, they would be acquiring. It's a step by step process.
  174. 1:09:49 to namaz ka bhi discipline naane ke liye aapko apne zehan ko taiyar karna padega. jaise maine aapko bataya example ki sahab the bahut enthusiastically wait karte the. they used to do namaz with lot of excitement, enthusiasm, happiness, joy. to aapko, apne aap ko jab aap pyaar karte hain, to aapko kuch kam karna padega, which is like a distraction. yeh bhi hota hai na ki namaz mein dhyan bach jata hai. kai baar hota hai, lagta hi nahi hai. They used to do नमाज़ with lot of excitement, enthusiasm, happiness, joy.
  175. 1:10:18 Kyunki bahut saari cheezein aapke dimaag mein chal bhi hoti hain.
  176. 1:10:27 Ek bahut hi different namaz bana deta hai.
  177. 1:10:36 It's like you are having a conversation with god almighty. It's like you are having a conversation with god almighty.
  178. 1:10:45 Aur yeh bhi hai vikraat ki yeh abhi ki baat nahin hai.
  179. 1:10:55 Yeh early period mein bhi aisa hota tha.
  180. 1:11:04 I mean ek, ek bahut important hadees hai ki Hazrat Abu Huraira bazaar se nikle.
  181. 1:11:13 To unhone log kaha ki tum log sab kitne helpless ho.
  182. 1:11:22 To unhone kaha kya hua Abu Huraira?
  183. 1:11:32 to wo gaye lekin hazid abu rehra wahin khade rahe bazaar mein. kyunki wo kuch jante the. thodi der mein wo hi log wapas aa gaye the jaldi. to abu rehra ne kaha kya hua? to unhe kaha are abu rehra hum log gaye wahan pe, lekin wahan to log quran padh rahe the aur namazta kar rahe the. to unhone kaha wahi to unki miras hai, wahi to heritage hai. to logon ke andar yeh cheez, wo develop nahi hui hai.
  184. 1:11:57 unko lagta hai ki bas yeh ek ritual hai, yeh must hai, mandatory hai, karna hi hai. kuch to logon ko dikhane ke liye karte hain aur kuch zabardasti karte hain. unko lagta hai ki yeh zaroori hai karna. lekin wo karne ke process mein they miss out on the essence of the prayer. so, jab bhi aap ho, matlab namaz ke liye jaane sochein ki apna conversation hone ja rahe hain taala se, and bahut excitement ke saath namaz ada kijiye. लेकिन वह करने के process में they miss out on the essence of the prayer.
  185. 1:12:25 phir aap dekhiye ki life mein kya changes aati hain. to sallah ke aakhri waqt mein yeh bhi aata hai ki jo cheez par emphasize kari unhone, unhone kaha ki salah qaim karo and treat your servants well. to lekin aap yeh dekhiye ki us waqt bhi wo salah par kitna emphasis tha unka. to it's, it's very important. yeh bahut achhi baat batayega jab bhi aapne taiyar karna apne aap. तो it's, it's very important.
  186. 1:12:53 Woh manana ki ek baat maine suni thi.
  187. 1:12:59 Woh waise maut se lekar di.
  188. 1:13:05 To manana ne bola tha usmein ki matlab maut par army par sunna chahiye aur agar woh is
  190. 1:13:18 Kyunki usne phir prepare nahin kiya apne aap ko.
  191. 1:13:25 ok, we can end. so thank you so much doctor rajat for your time and for preparing, stuti for, you know, doing the slides which is always a difficult thing to do. and thank you, the whole cps team, for being here and all our friends that have been here, as i told you, you know, doing all the camera work. so thank you everyone, and thanks all of you for coming. thank you. Ok, we can end. So thank you so much doctor रजत for your time and for preparing, स्तुति for, you know, doing the slides which is always a difficult thing to do. And thank you, the whole CPS team, for being here and all our friends that have been here, as I told you, you know, doing all the camera work. So thank you everyone, and thanks all of you for coming.
